Many times I've wished I'd come to a youtube video and see others who enjoy the content discussing it such as song meanings, video explanations, constructive discussions, etc. Like lyrics for example. I would love to hear other peoples interpretations of the lyrics and most importantly what the bands inspirations were behind the lyrics etc. But no, instead youtube is littered with immature people who took trolling beyond what is funny. Now we're left with a great platform for video sharing with no where to discuss the videos we enjoy watching. KZbin really should inherit the way reddit handles comments and let other members up/downvote comments that way trolls get buried and never receive the attention they so desperately and pathetically seek.

I love miw, but I've heard a lot of people say they copied MM, which, honestly, is just ignorant bullshit. Every band, no matter the genre, takes influence from bands that have come before them. I'm sure miw took some inspiration from MM, NIN, and even older bands like Alice Cooper, Sabbath, Kiss, etc. The same goes for pop music, too. All these pop artists take inspiration from Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Prince, etc. I, myself, love Manson, and because miw's music has a similar tone to it, I instantly love miw. It's not because I want them to be MM, it's because I just love that industrial, synthesized sound. And I've heard a few say miw have sold out now that they're getting all popular. The fuck are you, metal Hipsters? I'm actually glad they're getting out there and earning a shit load of money, because they're the kind of band that deserves it. And yeah, I've wrote an essay here, but that's how I do, so if it's a tl;dr, whatever XD

Popularity means nothing. I just use logic- they're obviously doing brilliantly if they are famous otherwise they wouldn't be famous nor popular. So before you start assuming i use their popularity as a measure of talent, just think about it for a minute. I know they're doing well because I'm a fan of MIW so I watch interviews and the likes, i have evidence that they're very talented and doing well in life. They're generally a great band who are living rather than hating. However, I respect opinions but the likes of 'This band is shit, they should kill themselves' and relating comments are pointless and not respectable. I hate pop music but you don't see me comment on whoever saying they are shit and shouldn't be famous now do I.

This video made me realize that we are the normal ones and everyone else is conforming to societal norms. Instead of wanting to be just another nobody, us “weird” people are the ones that would rather live how we want rather than living by rules implemented by our four fathers (government) that don’t even apply to us in 2019(20). Our creative sides are supposed to be muted and instead of expressing ourselves however we want we’re supposed do what everyone else is doing. Why? Why do we have to be repeats? Why can’t we invent a world where people can let their creative selves be their front face? Where people can be who they truly are. Without others judging your life decisions.
