"Creatures" was their defining album. "Infamous" was a huge letdown to most fans of theirs and I wouldn't be surprised if their next record doesn't do as well. I personally liked about half of "Infamous". "Creatures" might have been less unique, but I love that record.

I actually liked Infamous more just on the fact that I also listen different kinds of Music and Infamous has that. But Creatures is the album that made me a fan so it also has a special place for me. I agree, and I also disagree with Chris. You don't want to appeal to a broader audience. It has been proven time and time again by not just music but games, movies, TV shows, etc when you cater to the lowest common denominator, that is when things go to shit. Sure it makes more money, but what the hell happened to integrity?

It is interesting seeing them being interviewed at a time where I was not at all interested in this bands music. Was not a fan of most of Infamous, and didn't care for Reincarnate either. They got me back with Graveyard shift and then kind of lost me again with Disguise, and got me back with their latest stuff. It's crazy how I can love this band so much but not like a large portion of their music.
