Have to agree with the intakes looking odd. It's decent but something about its overall looks doesn't hit the mark for me. And what's with the throttle jumping up from idle? Not calibrated or just user input? Gotta make the next version of the 8s 90mm have stock looking thrust vectoring. Maybe it's just me but I wanna do crazy maneuvers with a f22. Probly more at lower speeds, or faster if I could learn how

Overall, looks great. Is the blue box/quick connect for the Aron set up so you can easily do two separate ailerons instead of one aileron channel only? Quick connects on other aircraft force a single aileron channel which requires running an extra wire to one of the wings to do two separate ailerons. Thanks.

I am wondering what fan he is running. I don’t think it’s an out of balance 12 blade. To me it sounds like a 5 blade fan??? It also seems to have a lot more power than others I’ve watched fly on the old youtubacle.

Switch to radiomaster you won't have to limit yourself to lower channel counts for money's sake. I purchased about 8 radio master recievers the other day for less than some individual spektrum rx. I don't even have 8 planes to put them in. Just wanted to have them on hand if needed

Hey Motion and Wesley! Nice model, it looks :) Is the full speed of around 250 km/h or 159 mph true? That was on another channel and is ridicously fast for a stock 70mm no matter which design I think. I like those plastic details on the foam! They will make models much more durable to normal wear and tear!

This makes me hopeful that if there ever is a 90mm F-22 V2, that it will look as detailed as this one does. Ps, if you do end up making a V2 90mm F-22, I’d love navigation lights, a thrust vectoring option, gear doors for the main gear, and I know this last one is far fetched, BUT a functional set of missile bay doors would be sick. Doesn’t need to be deep with missiles inside or anything just a little half inch deep slightly detailed recessed area with some servos to open and close the doors>

Having flown the 64mm and owning a 70mm F-16 there’s actually a big difference in sound and thrust from a 64 to a 70.

Why does the motor whine so much? This is one of the worst sounding modern EDF I've heard in a long time. Fortunately I have a spare Wemotec 70mm that will drop right in.

I was always told that the wine has little to do with the edf itself and mostly to do with the intake. So in that case, the design of the planes inlet channel and how it creates turbulence as the air enters the fans is why it whines. Could be wrong. Never owned an edf plane before Smoothing the transition and rounding the edge from where the edf contacts the inside of the inlets might solve that issue

That edf unit just doesn’t sound great. It’s a whiner. It sounds the same in all the different jets it comes in. It makes really good power and can run on 7s even, but the FMS unit has better sound
