Mine wouldn't work at first because of a bad switch on the battery pack. As the switch is difficult to get to anyway I shorted that switch out and put one on the deck which is much more convenient. It sails very well. The only problem is you can't open the sails completely to run straight down wind or stop with wind abeam. Otherwise a nice boat especially if you've had some experience of sailing.

Beautiful, I ordered one❤ I am new to the hobby, how will it perform on the sea? I have a place with shallow and calm water, but still a little wavier than a pond

It will do fine in very small waves.

How much range does it have? I'm afraid of losing control over it and having a hard time recovering it Thanks

Around half a mile to one mile. But if your that far out you can’t hardly see it. For most customers it’s more than enough range.

You purchase or build an RC propeller driven boat that you drive out to it and push it free, or even push it all they way back to you. Only one person at the pond needs to have such a rescue boat, if it is you, you will be popular.
