Just curious, is there a listing somewhere of your results from all bowling balls tested? I’m thinking overall grade? Lane condition best suited? Other notes like skid flip or rolls heavy?

Would you recommend this over the Trident Abyss for a heavy oil ball? For reference, I enjoy the shape of the Code Black after the oil burns up a bit.

That's a tough call as I don't know your game and the Code Black is a very different shape than either ball. Would suggest to watch the videos and try to match yourself up as closely as possible to a style and see which one you like better.

To some extent I would say yes. Although if you watch through Bryan's section, I talk about how he had better motion with the Forge than the Idol which was a bit too smooth.

Tamer, which balls have earned A grades in your reviews?

I need to start keeping a list :-) Very few. I would say the HyRoad. It's hard for a ball to push past B+ because longevity is something you can't see in the initial videos and I reserve that for the best of the best.

Personally, I found the Forge more usable. It really depends on your style. If you're a tweener, I feel like the Forge will be more usable. If you're a stroker, you might like the Abyss more.

Ghost has more backend. Both are heavy rolling and probably handle similar volumes with just different shapes.

TamerBowling I got the Jackal Ghost by winning a drawing. Killer ball! I’m thinking the Forge would play straighter, especially at the upcoming (Michigan) State tournament. If I stayed with one company, then the Rogue Assassin would be my 3rd ball. As it is, I may end up with a Forge because I can totally ball down to my Hyper Cell Fused and Hustle INK.
