Part of that has to do with his mental fortitude. Usyk is so sure of himself, his abilities and experience, he doesn’t suffer from the usual anxieties other fighters go through, which affect your stamina. So he’s very efficient, and doesn’t waste energy.

Fighting close vs Ruiz in 2nd was huge risk so pecking off at a distance was AJs safest option. We all saw Ruiz was in worse shape than 1st & cdnt close distance to fight inside in 2nd. Usyk 2 is opposite. AJ shdnt have tried beat him at his own game in 1st place coz Usyk more experienced. If he wobbles Usyk, expect tongue poking. AJ gotta be the bully and play rougher now in rematch imo but might he be exposed & clipped trying to do so. We'll see. He appears less confident since Ruiz loss imo.
