Back in the day, when I played in a working cover band, my drummer and I would play this song in between the songs in the set list. Brings back memories. This month marks 16 years of his passing. We were like brothers. Thanks Mike.

"Danger" is my favorite song by Motley Crue!!! How many guitarists do this?!?! Not many... Ab/A/Bb/Db... That's a very dissonant way to go. I also love the D/C chord that ends up in the Bm/Am... Depending on where you're tuned. If you're tuned into Motley everything is a full note down from standard.

I doubt there is footage of Danger live. It's not on the US fest footage or any others I've seen. Lot different back then. We did not have cells and they would toss your ass out the door trying to sneak in cams. Recorders too. Seen quite a bit of that in my day. Unless it was management approved for tv or some shit, it was no go. Sucks, cause it's a great song. I seen em do it two or three times I believe

Where would Crue be if Mick Mars wasn't the guitar player??? I recently read that during the Shout tour, with Ozzy, one night Mick traveled in ozzys bus, and some guy from ozzys was on Crues bus, and they were dead set on firing Mick Mars as they had a meeting.. they said Mick was too old.. but ozzys guy told them it was a bad idea and to not fix what's not broken... this is when Jake E Lee was young and on fire.. but Mick Mars understands the guitar differently than most others.. hear those guitar parts in Danger? That ain't no simple 3 chord rock... its a deeper understanding.. They are obviously very glad they kept ole Mars on cuz he's amazing and humbly underrated!!! Mars is the reason Crue sound the way they do.
