Every time I saw them in person, my ears were ringing for two days after. The whole stadium would shake. If you had floor seats, you could feel the floor vibrating under your feet like an earthquake. I grew up listening to them and got to see them in their prime...Always a high energy concert where they played their hearts out. I don't know how they have any hearing at all at this point? They put on a phenomenal show and are a true metal band. I don't know if concerts will ever be like that again, as most new bands suck. Glad I got to enjoy some good music and experience so many concerts like this. Experiences are always more important than things. A Motley Crue concert is a priceless experience!

I was born in 1970 too. As a little kid in the ‘70s we had awesome Saturday morning cartoons plus all the Sid and Marty Kroft Saturday morning shows. That stuff is pretty cheesy now when I look back on it, but my brother and I LOVED that stuff back then! And there was The Incredible Hulk and the Six Million Dollar Man, among many other classic tv shows. Then my middle school and high school years were in the ‘80s with the best rock and metal!!!! I joined marching band in high school and became a drummer and would come home from school and jam to all this great music! So glad my childhood and teen years were in the ‘70s and ‘80s!!!

I like the hair metal era and I must say it just comes down to the fact that it all was so beautiful, beautiful in its most exagerated form, but it was beautiful. Big hair, black lace, snakeskin leather, sportscars and the longest guitar solos in the entire world. Not everyone may like this, i actually do know lots of people that don't like this, but I do and I know why I like it and why the other fans like it.

I was born in 74...I was 9 when I first heard of them in 83.( they were out earlier , but as a 9 yr old in New york I didn't hear of them til 83) ..by 85 all the girls in school had posters of them up, and all the bad ass guys liked them. They were one of the bands where hot girls and bad guys liked them..that is partly how they remained popular. I was in 9th grade when their last classic album came out which was dr. feelgood. .they were more popular than ever at that point. then the 90s came and those bands (aside from van halen, metallica , and guns and roses) kind of imploded. they put stuff out in the 90s , but they never reached the heights they did in the 80s. they have some authentic great 80s rock and I am glad young people like yourself keep the bands I love alive. I will tell you they were the real deal ...they don't embellish their stories. love the crue

+Simon Johnson "I was at this concert back in the 80's."--Anyone who was old enough to be at a concert in the 80's is a Baby Boomer, not Gen X.

And I'm 15 now... My life fucking sucks because this is not what people my age listen to these days.. It's just fucking computermade and rap, and I don't even want to call it music.

Tilda L You can say that again, girl. At least we know that there are still some young people who listen to proper music, and not to Dustbin Jieber and other idiots...

Yeah but it makes me so sad that the majority of the world listens to that crappy "music". And the worst thing ever is when one direction etc. are acting like they're rockstars. and im like, no, just no.
