Me too, but then again ,they never made a shout video. I think this is a bad idea showing this film band and orvold Motley Crue footage,because that is what you are going to see this summer. I say you because I'm not going and sitting through all the crap bands ,and the heat ,just for an hour plus of Potley Crue! I was right there at the very first show,which everyone thinks wa at the Starwood, At Pookies in Pasadena ,and I knew they were going to be huge,but in lost interest after shout, and had my own bands. And opened for them on the Girls Girls Girls tour, just a few shows ,but it was CRAZY!

I was 12….it was about this time of the year, 1985. My brother had moved back home and so did his record collection. This had been out a couple years, but my parents weren’t about to let me listen to something like this with THAT album cover and dudes looking like chicks lol. Anyway, I snuck into my brothers room and put this on the stereo…it was the vinyl record mind you….and that intro….wow. That creepy voice….it was like a scary movie and chills went down my spine. Then….BOOM. That song. I sat there mesmerized and staring at the album cover and the 4 crazy lookin long hairs and read all the song titles, the lyrics….and immediately I was hooked on the sound. Over the next few days I would creep around and I finally got to listen to all the songs. THAT was just a sample of what life was like for a pre teen in the 80s. Wonder, magic, and mischief. All pretty innocent and the discovery was the fun. Now, you just get on the internet and you see and hear it all, and then read what you are supposed to feel….but back then, it was your own world, and you could make it be whatever you wanted it to be. For me, I enjoyed the music and went on with my little life lol. I didn’t go and worship satan and smoke hash and try to rape the girl next door or anything 😂😂

I've been a fan since my buddy introduced me to them back in 84/85. My first concert was the Girls, Girls, Girls tour in 87. I've seen Motley 19 times and soon to be 20 this summer. Even back in the 90's when everyone feel in love with the Seattle sound, hip hop and made fun of me for being a loud and proud Crue Head I never hid it. Absolutely insane that they are in high demand again.

When the movie came out, I just had to see it - and it brought that time back to life for me in a way that I hadn't anticipated. Im a 13 year old metalhead and this was the first rock/metal song i listened to. At, like 7, I heard this and absolutely loved it. This is nostalgic for me, in a good way. I now bang my head to this late at night till i feel dizzy or i feel like i have a concussion (that happened a few nights ago). Might not be okay for someone my age, but should i care? Yes. But do i actually care? Nope. I aspire to be a wrestler for WWE when im older and i feel like i should make this my theme, which would be awesome. So, thank you Motley Crue, for changing my life at such a young age. ❤❤

35 years ago when i was a student in the Soviet Union i remember that moment when first time i heard Motley Crue - i was just blown away, i felt kind of shock - it was just incredible music - since that moment i listen to them every day, i would say i can't live without Motley Crue!

The first two Crue albums were sooo good. Nothing they did after even comes close. BTW: I still have the absolute first press of Too Fast For Love with the black and white cover and Vince's beehive hair and the first Shout At The Devil with the pentagram cover. Pry them from my cold, dead hands.
