You didn't seem to differentiate the griefer and anti-griefer properly. The griefer is very cringe, yes, and extremely toxic, and they have low skill and are unhappy. The anti-griefer however isn't as cringe, can be quite toxic, but the anti-griefer has higher skill, and is surprisingly much happier. The standard griefer has higher stats in cringe and toxicity, but lower in skill and happiness. The anti-griefer however tends to have higher stats in skill and happiness, with lower levels of Cringe and toxicity. Both however can be equally predictable. The anti-griefer as I know of, include the likes of Putther, Joker For Life, NitrixWarlord, UVSPro, and Helisexuality. Their tactics seem predictable, but you can see they are all having fun punishing griefers. Then we have the kind of PVPer, "The Revenger", this player could be older, likely in their 30's or 40's, someone who has experience and skill in other shooters, who is playing GTA Online to grind money, but gets targeted by griefers. The Revenger starts the fight as a victim of a griefer, but a switch gets flipped as a declaration of WAR against the griefer who crossed him or her! Their mission is to punish the griefer, and make that griefer feel the pain they inflicted! These players tend to be honorable, and will call you out for being a bitch because you can't resist ewoing when he rolls up in a tank, or has a friend to help put the griefer in their proper place in the trash! Crossing a Revenger is like kicking the hornet's nest, or breaking a 2x4 on a hibernating bear's ass! It's an encounter that griefers fear the most! In terms of stats. Te Revenger hits these marks. Skill: 3-5 Toxicity: 2 Cringe: 1 Predictability: 4 Happiness: 4 Skill is fairly high, and adapts to using more underhanded tactics like RC tank and Orbital canon as a means to compensate for age slowing them down. These skills are usually sharpened from other shooter games, and likely older ones like Quake, Red Faction, and others. Toxicity is fairly low, and is really more justified. Someone who gets angry because some fortnite kid thought freeroam was a battle royale like Fortnite, but it's a crime sim, and you're supposed to have some level of restraint. The Revenger is sick of the stupid, and will lecture you while beating you into the ground for that random kill you made just because you got eager to kill someone for being afk. They'll refer to making you die over and over and over again as punishment, and won't let you get around if you keep trying to run or hide. And when one is sick of having to punish you, they'll leave while up on score and tell you "It's over.", which should be the lesson to not be a griefer, or this type of older player will make you regret it! In terms of cringe, the Revenger is actually based as fuck, it's just that only griefers think they are cringe. Which is a very small minority. Like shill for Disney live action de-make enjoyer level minority. Again, the Revenger is usually very chill until provoked, and often can be seen asking if anyone would like to join in a heist, or a mission. Predictability is fairly high, but mainly because the Revenger won't engage until provoked. This is the most predictable part, and a Revenger is quite terrifying once provoked. They'll also take offense to you killing yourself to avoid letting them kill you, which only angers them more! Happiness: Outside of punishing griefers for the personal sleight, this player is normally pretty happy, and often very friendly. It is only when provoked is when you see that happiness decay. Strategies on how to counter the Revenger: 1: DO NOT ENGAGE! Practicing some restraint will be a big help to you! Not sure if that random player is a Revenger? Best to keep your finger off the damn trigger! 2: If you provoked a Revenger, LET THEM GET UP ON SCORE AND KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! Unlike being mauled by a bear IRL, the Revenger will grow bored quickly of punishing you! It may be a blow to your ego, but instead of ewoing and trying to bring your score up, just let that Revenger player dominate you for a while, and let them get bored. It'll end quickly! 3: BE QUICK TO APOLOGIZE! If you kill one randomly, APOLOGIZE IMMEDIATELY! Make some excuse like "Sorry, I was killing NPCs and got you by mistake!", or to simply apologize like "Sorry!", or even embellish with something like "OMG I AM SO SORRY!", this however only applies to the first kill. In this case, the Revenger may just want to even the score, in which case, let em. 4: DO NOT EWO! If you EWO to avoid being score dropped, you're only making the bear angrier! You'll make yourself look like a coward, which, against a Revenger, is a dishonorable tactic. 5: DO NOT CHEAT! No exploits, no mod menus, just let the revenger maul you until they're bored. 6: LEAVE AFTER THEY ARE UP ON SCORE! The Revenger once up on score will settle down, and you can later be more civil with if you remain quiet and calm. It'll suggest psychologically to the Revenger that you're not fond of being punished, and you'll be granted leniency in the moment. Also, apologize if you run into one after the initial encounter.

The KD/score warriors were another big kind of tryhard (before it stopped being affected in freemode). I like to think of myself as a PvPer and a bad ultimate tryhard but I'm talking about the guys who ONLY spam RC cars, Imani tech cars, heist teleport, etc. They'll kill you once off radar or whatever solely because they want you to chase them since they don't get any attention IRL 😅

I only use imani tec cars since it was added because of the mkll troll babies . And to be fair i use the ghost mode / facility teleport/ out of sight trick because i suck at pvp and whenever i start getting spawn killed i am fast to call my boy lester to beam me up like those Mofos from star treck haha . Have always used tacticool outfits since the original launch on the ps3, still have using the glitched outfit with the layered head gear, Baklava, ski goggles and the ballistic half mask with the bulletproof helm. I don't ever provoke 1v1s but if someone attacks first then sure, usually ends with a "GG" after a dozen kills and we part ways.

I can remember when I was in this lobby and doing my own thing and trying to earn money as you do keeping yourself to yourself and these 4 tryhards was blowing the sh*t out of me constantly so I thought yano i’m going to get my own back on them so one after another I kept killing them repeatedly over and over and guess who got reported and vote to kick multiple times??? Me. I would consider myself an anti-tryhard. To confuse people even further, my character walks around LS barefooted and I only wear those red tight underpants with hearts. No top. I've had several players over the years stalk me through lobbies, over days and weeks until I'm forced to block them. I avoid pvp. It's not fun for me. You have to be so sweaty to get a kill in, and these guys have it down to a science. I've never spent the time to get good at the combat, and I never plan to, because wiggle sniping and spawnkilling and unaliving yourself before the other player can get a kill is such small dick energy. I don't talk to or reply to these people. They still stalk me until i have to block them. Imagine if you actually give them the response they're looking for. Theb again, I forget that I am a GTA geriatric and most people playing this are like 10 so the giddy glee of virtually chasing someone through lobbies over several days is entertaining I guess

I would consider myself a PvPer but in a metpro kinda sense if i use vehicles in freemode i only use those that require a challenge to use like the scramjet for example. I think the problem with PvP nowadays is people take it way to seriously some of these modern tryhards (which most would consider wannabes) need to understand that score means nothing it doesnt always prove skill and most of all you win some and you lose some its not a big deal. Even back in the day, PVP and K/D has a value, but it literally means nothing. Good job, you logged on to your brothers xbox and yours, killed him 10000000 times to artificially inflate your KD, which means nothing, or God forbid you paid actual currency for a nodded amount for your exceedingly high kd ratio, which again, means nothing at all. It's not like this is a dedicated shooter game, with competitive game modes, and KD ratio means something because of the core gameplay. It's a proper representation of skill because that's what you do. You shoot the other guys. In GTA you've got sweaty tryhards farming casuals for inflated KD to peacock and swing their dicks at each other.

I always simplified this down to one factor: do you care? If you care about the outcome of the game to the point its stressful, you are a tryhard. Your motive doesn't matter. If you get mad someone killed you, if you pay attention to score or KD or flex your wealth and possessions... if you think anyone should care about you and your game... if you derrive a sense of worth or achievement from the outcome of a silly, broken, unbalanced game like GTA5... you are a try hard.

So, I kinda see where kd matters, as it shows ya know how to maintain a bit with composure. Most I met in the ps4 edition for online would carry a fair 2.0 kd, meaning if ya bug them, they goona get ya twice as much. Usually those kinds are more casual than given credit. I'm in the RNG community (thanks for the shoutout!) Just a couple things to differentiate us from "pvp tryhards". RNG players don't wear helmets, it's the most sacred rule. Helmet = Noob. Also, we play mostly in deathmatches that are hosted by reputable RNG players. You'll rarely see us in public matches & if you do, I suggest wearing a helmet 😭 We also don't use explosives, that's strictly against the rules & things such as camping, using cover and using deathstreak perks are frowned upon.

today i learned im a pvper lmao i used to pvp in gta a lot in 2015-17 and it was a ton of fun, i think stuff like BST, OpMK2 etc kind of took the fun out of the game, it was honestly so much fun getting into the pillbox hill warzone and fight 5/6 people at a time until they all logged off eventually or just moved on, now i mostly try to kill griefers / people who just keep killing low levels for KD

Means RC runners & the Amani vehicle runners need to just... yeah.. learn the classic style of guns.. :P Practicing the LMG & the Rifles & the sniper guns was more traditional. No Flying bikes, no tanks.. none of that... OG 4 real.. The building blocks for GTA 5 tryhard came from GTA 4, where there was less updated vehicles to battle & more players just had guns...

I'm an anti griefer, I check to see if anyone's killing someone afk or just killing them over and over. Then I go and grief them until they leave the lobby, especially those bullies destroying people's cargo. I don't think it's fair putting anti griefer with the regular griefer imo. I do use a lot of pvp'er tactics, mostly sniping in first person to strafe faster lol and using ghost organization, off the radar, heist warping and a bit of ewoi ng(only when I'm low on health)

I love your content and I loved this video, but there is one thing I will just mention, "not all anti-greifers bad at noticing who is an actual griefer or 2 players battling it out. Realistically if you can spot the signs of foul play, you can usually sniff it out pretty easily. Proud to say I'm somewhere between an OG tryhard and a PvPer. I don't care much for score unless someone is playing incredibly dirty and cheap because I can't allow myself to lose to someone that pathetic lmao so in that case I'll do everything I can to win. I pretty much just look for fights by flying around in a sparrow and killing randoms in the lobby until someone fights back and then I fight them until one of us gives up. I try to go after high level or high KD players but when I'm just fishing for any fight I'll just get a kill or two on anyone in my path until I get fight. These days it seems less and less people want to PvP and instead they just view it as toxic. I do miss the old 2014-2015 days where the game was much more basic and there were a lot more full lobby battles and a higher skill requirement. RnG's were awesome too, but as you said, that's a dead community now. I've always preferred GTA over other games like CoD simply because of the open world and many other things to do aside from just PvP. I'd definitely say I've become a bit of griefer in more of a trolling type of way nowadays because most of the time I can't find any good fights, so I find it funny to just cause chaos in lobbies.

I considerate myself as a pvp player, you can even see it in my videos, but the most important reason i have to be a pvp player is that, i like to get better on something competitive (even when gta is dead but there is people that still practice normally), to really feel me good in something, i mean, i won't feel me good if i get 20-0 to a noob who was almost afk or i won't feel me good if i won against a tryhard in freemode using dirty tactics like rc, orbital or that shit. Fighting against someone who also practice like you and fight back is the only way to get better, in my opinion

50% OG tryhards are like nitrix warlord and the boys, with 25% pvper because they don't EWO, and they only use off radar or ghosted when the tryhard does it. They would only use it by choice if it was like a 4V1 or sum and they don't care about score, they're just there for the fun, and they only go against people that want to fight back and if they say they don't wanna fight anymore they respect it. They're also a 25% anti-Griefer because in their vids they're usually destroying tryhards that are griefing beginers.

What about retired tryhards like me? I was impressed with one of my friends and was tired of being griefed so he taught me everything, I realized I'd become the thing I wanted to defend myself against and stopped. Now I just chill, doing random freemode stuff, rp, driving around, and sometimes I guess a little anti tryhard stuff but not much as of recent. Although sometimes muscle memory gives me an ewo while defending myself, it's a hard habit to break but im trying. I know I technically wouldn't fit into the list anymore since I don't do it anymore but I'm just curious what I'd get is all. This was an entertaining video either way.

There’s another type. I call them the chameleon. Low KD, Low rank to blend in with casuals; yet they have hundreds of millions if not billions maybe even trillions lol but you don’t actually find out till you get orbed by a Level 10 player. They’re sneaky asf, unpredictable asf, toxic asf, happy because they catch most people off guard and just above average skill considering they put effort into looking like a new player when they are experienced asf. They’re crafty aswell cause higher level players might look like the griefer (when they are just defending themselves) but end up attracting anti griefers or getting bounties set on them.

you should go more in-depth about anti griefers. I'm one myself and people often put us in the category of a griefer or tryhard when we are really our own category and type of player. there our different types of anti griefers and we usually follow a set of rules that we made for ourselves that only we follow. It makes sense given this video you uploaded. I used to think pretty much everyone who dresses up a certain way are potential try-hards who look to get kills and avoid being killed, just trying to ruin other peoples' fun. But it seems this isn't always the case given my experiences. With the exception of a-holes using 7000+ or 'missing' K/D modded account low/high level players randomly killing me for no apparent reason, I've come across some players who appeared to be try-hard players or griefers, but were actually very chill.

Honestly, apart from all of the types of tryhards that you mentioned, i feel like there's another potential type that i think i would consider myself of and that is the Tryhard Evader. Yes, i know that this may sound stupid at first, but there's also people out there that really just wants to enjoy the game freely without really engaging in battles like the typical tryhard ones with anyone, but at the same time, they're forced to anyway because of the toxic type of tryhards, so they have no other option but to think of unique ways and improve their skills in order to be able to evade this people given the point that they do not really want to be tryhards so they would not really dedicate their time to training like one either, almost like how an ultimate tryhard would do from the start, but with other purposes, and when you think about it, that small little dedication to avoiding toxic tryhards actually pays off a lot when you notice how skilled you can actually get with only trying to get away from those guys, it's like if you were slowly turning yourself into a small ultimate tryhard in the game aswell, but you use those skills only to evade other tryhards instead of fighting them in a PvP because the only thing you want is to enjoy the game in your way without any disruptions from other people. I'd say that these tryhards would be somewhat skilled but not too much though (3/5), they would be nowhere near toxic given the fact that they want to have nothing to do with other's business (1/5), they would be 0 cringe aswell because the same thing (1/5), they would not be really predictable aswell because their creative and uncommon ways of avoiding people as well as attention in general (2/5) and lastly they would be really happy players because at the end of the day they just play the game only because they have fun doing so and they do not have any evil intentions towards others at all (4/5) This is all just my opinion though, so if anybody thinks that this concept of mine is lame or whatever, fair enough.
