Your starts are good, like you said your reaction time is on point. What you need is to hold the gear for longer and let the engine rev out in every gear. If i was at Glen Helen on my KX250 2006 2stroke I'd start in 3rd gear. Its a long straight and the start gate is slippery. The reason is the engine will torque off the gate with minimal wheel spin when everyone else shifts to 3rd you'll pull three bikes lengths on everyone and mostly put you in the best position up front. It take practice to modulate the clutch off the start so you don't bog the engine. I'm 56 riding and racing for 40+ years only on 2strokes 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

@@maxrpm2215 I think my biggest problem with the start is I have only raced a few times in the last thirty years. Prior to that I could pull great starts.
