@flyinbryan16199 жыл бұрын
its odd that it says its from 1978 because some of the bikes are definitely 1979 models
@Wide0009 жыл бұрын
+flyinbryan1619 In the beginning of the video it says that it was held 26 august 1979
@Buelligan887 жыл бұрын
I noticed that too. Specifically the ugly fenders that came on the RM Suzukis in 1979. You just can't forget that kind of ugly.
@Wide0007 жыл бұрын
1979 was still a good year compared to the fenders of the 1984, They outdone themselves this year. Just google it. You'll be immediately convinced.
@Buelligan887 жыл бұрын
The 84 RM feders look better than the 79 fenders, but I agree they were ugly. The 79s were so ugly the factory never used them on their works bikes that year, an indignity the 84 fenders did not suffer. 1979 was also the year most (if not all) motocross bikes came with FIM mandated side numberplates. This was the biggest tip-off it was post 1978.Hard to believe this was so long ago.

Thats so true. Its a cruddy shame. I prefer the early 70’s when the shocks got moved up and everybody had offset axles. Then at the end of the decade the “fim” rear mounted side # plates..best look for me . Especially the works bikes…

Si oui me faire signe.

It says something about 1979 in the beginning of the video. I don't know what it says because it's in French but the year is plain enough. Bikes are 79 for sure, the N series RM's were easy to spot and Honda had that goofy 23" front wheel

I reckon a beginner with a months training on a modern bike would win this. Kinda comical watching this today.
