What is the point of the camera being exposed when the case is closed. You really can't take any pictures when the clam is closed. So why isn't it covered to protect your lenses?

Hi! Thanks for making this video. It really helped me make the decision on the color etc. I think the reason it needs to be still to charge is because that would prevent a constant trickle charge and strain on the phone's battery.

1st Smartphone: Iphone 4s 2nd Sp: J7 Pro 3rd Sp: Edge 30 Pro Not a though buyer. Got the E30P at Motorola website Mexico from a listed price of $ 1,250 USD into a kind of Halloween sale for $ 275 USD. Got screenshots. Folio is arriving next week from eBay USA, shipping for total price of $45 USD. Hope someone can tell about folio's issues found on Google like screen scratching and autodestructive corners, also about loosening of the case causing bare drops and hits. Personally think, that maybe if the Edge inside the Folio is pressed inside a tight bag or pocket all day long because of carrying it everywhere should damage the phone's screen. However, still concerned if I must return the Folio as it arrives. Thanks for the review, the Edge 30 Pro by itself is very great.

just got one from the verizon store, easy guest checkout 19.99/on sale 75% off thank god i saw the price on google when i looked it up. I actually like it bc i cant find where to make the screen less sensitive to touch/change songs when im putting it in and out of my pocket, im sure theres a hard setting for this but a case like this will be a nice benefit to the screen/activity constantly swapping or opening up app updates/notifications into the apps upon unlocking the screen or constant tidal music skips/pauses just grabbing/touching the screen when its locked. Had to get one though IMO this will help maximize the usability of the phone over the course of ownership and serve as some protection

Seems like that stylus would get in the way of holding the phone or make it awkward. Any problems with the display shifting colors to blue or yellow when tilting the phone at different angles.

I had no issues with the display personally, and yes the case could have been nicer , especially if the pen didn't need to be charged, I hope they can change things in the future for new phones , maybe a built in Stylus for the pro phones

Motorola should have taken a similar approach like on the Moto Stylus. Maybe they have taken the decision to implement a folio case to cut the production costs of the phone. I too think that when attached to the back of the phone, it should charge instantly. I thought of purchasing this phone with the folio case but I think now I will wait for X30 Pro. If they implement this concept on X30 Pro in a more refined way like you said, I will surely purchase it. But they should have sold it a little cheaper.

Yes I agree with you it's just a bit too expensive in my opinion for what it is. And honestly I do like having the stylus it works great on the phone I'm just not sold on the folio case 😩

The 30 is for overseas - stays Edge + in North America. Why would the phone trickle charge be on if you didn't get the folio with stylus? That's not how its should EVER work - you enable it in settings when you actually require it. Otherwise you waste battery life.

The phone popped out thr case when i dropped it the other day smdh. The pen always says its disconnected. I think ill get my 80 plus bucks bsck. Definitely not worth that. Especially since there js minimal protection for the phone itself

It's crazy this phone is what going on 2 years old and I looked on the Motorola website and that folio case is still 80 bucks which is quite ridiculous given its working on being 2 years old they need to at least slash it in half like 45 to 50 bucks

any issues with answering phone calls? When I swipe on the middle glass on the case to answer phone calls, it goes automatically to google voice call screening prompt, which appears there is no way to turn this off and just answer straight.

I go out one and it looks and feels great but don't work on Motorola s stylus 5g 2022 or the Motorola edge 2021 I hope it would work because uses Bluetooth but it doesn't work, by any chance anyone knows how to make it work with Motorola stylus 5g 2022???

That's wrong - I take calls with my Edge and the stylus trickle charge only kicks in if the stylus needs it - so that's incorrect. Of course you have to enable the stylus setting - it does not come with one, so why would the function be active unless you needed it? Why complain about who he - if your fingers are not clean, what did you expect? And just fold the case and bingo - you can take pictures. It ain't rocket science. Nit picking.

I don’t know maybe mine was defective because half the time the pen would just die and not charge 🤷🏻‍♂️ I loved the pen though it was just as good as an spen from Samsung

@@jarobetech703 Can't say - maybe you should have returned it to see if your replacement was not problematic before bashing it. That's what I would have done / then you're giving viewers solid advise. Why people buy white cases and complain it gets dirty fast cracks me up. Last color you want in your hands and pocket consistently expecting it to look new.

Case sucks balls. 1. On many occasions you are holding the powerbutton too long and then the phone reboots or shuts down. 2. The corners are all gone in 6 months with carefull use. The phone doesnt fit exactly and wiggles a bit, because of that the corners start weakening and break off one by one. 3. There is no room for cards (this isn't a dealbreaker but it would be nice to hold some cards).
