To perform a hard reset on a Moto G20, follow these steps:
1. *Power Off the Device:*
Ensure the phone is turned off. If it's unresponsive, you can force it off by holding the power button for about 10 seconds.
2. *Enter Recovery Mode:*
Press and hold the *Volume Down* button and the *Power* button simultaneously until the device turns on. Release both buttons when you see the Motorola logo.
3. *Navigate to Recovery Mode:*
You will see the Boot Mode Selection Menu. Use the *Volume Down* button to scroll to "Recovery Mode" and press the *Power* button to select it.
4. *Access the Android Recovery Menu:*
When you see the Android logo with "No command," hold the *Power* button and press the *Volume Up* button once. This will bring up the Android Recovery menu.
5. *Perform the Hard Reset:*
Use the *Volume Down* button to navigate to "Wipe data/factory reset" and press the *Power* button to select it.
Use the *Volume Down* button to highlight "Factory data reset" and press the *Power* button to confirm.
6. *Reboot the Device:*
Once the reset is complete, the menu will highlight "Reboot system now." Press the *Power* button to reboot the phone.
After the reboot, your Moto G20 will be restored to its factory settings, and all data will be erased.
