I have the last year for the 1400 Eldorado. Which is 2020. Great bike that never took off here in the States.

Moto Guzzzi is a European bike, but foremost it is ITALIAN. The factory is on the shoes of beautiful Lake Como and featured the FIRST wind tunnel. Guzzi built the first V-8 motorcycle decades ago. Guzzis are so reliable and robust the California Highway Patrol used them in the 70s, including automatic versions. Hence the California model.

Contemplating trading my Street Glide for an Eldorado. I've two other Guzzi and recently sold my Cali Vintage because I couldn't get on with the riding position. Think the Eldorado would be fine. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the comment. I miss the character of the Guzzi alot. A good service dealer near me was one of the issues why I moved on. But I would not mind a stone in my garage for putting around town

Just picked up a 2014 Custom w' 4600 miles 5999!! it needed new tires but considering what 6k gets you when looking elseware around the motorcycling world how could I NOT buy this guzzi. rolling work of art. Looking forward to summer.

I miss mine for sure! ok well not the oil leak but the bike has so much character you just feel a bit special riding it. When I traded mine in for my voyager (so my wife can ride comfortably) they sold my guzzi in about a week for 7 or 8 I think so you got a great deal. Enjoy it

Nice Vid - thx for posting! I also have a 2016 Eldo (black). It's a beautiful bike. I've owned (3) Guzzi's prior going back some 50 yrs . For the missing storage space, you commented on, I installed a Givi Top Case and replaced its reflector with functional turn-signals and motion sensing brake lights (the brake strobe speed increases and is brighter the faster you decelerate)- the led light bar guts were from company called AD-More Lighting). The connection to the case lights is wireless, driven by a portable jumper battery. Its'' a heavy bike (750ish?) and if you make a mistake doing slow turns, you're not going man-handle it back upright. It's not the best slow turn performer. I had to replace the seat for my 6'4 frame as it was just too short for my comfort. I also spent some $$$$ on upgrades. I added a new ECU, custom pipe from Guzzi Tech, not only is the engine much more responsive the engine temp has been noticeably cooler. I also added new front and rear Matris shocks, sticky Cobra whitewalls and front and rearview cams .. it's truly and awesome and exciting bike! . My biggest complaint is the wide girth ...o it's like sitting on horse - You''All Stay Safe and avoid sudden stops~!**** pics of bike can be seen on Im gur site (w/o spaces) - look up "2016 moto guzzi eldorado"

Nice review. Have you checked the valve clearances since you've owned it?
@jeffmurray74482 жыл бұрын
When I first purchased the bike I took it an authorized dealer and they adjusted them at about 4K miles. I think it is due for a check. thanks for the reminder

@@jeffmurray7448 The valves are easy to adjust on the eldorado. The valve adjustments are "screw and lock type". I was jacking up the back tire. Rotating the tire etc. Then i found this video clip on an even easier way to do it. I adjust my valves according to the manual. 6000 miles. So when i change my fluids at 6000 miles, i do the valves too. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rIHGo6Zulp6eoq8

Beautiful bike, Great review, Cute fur baby. Enjoy the adventures! I've been doing some research on the Moto Guzzi California. Saddle bags and a windscreen would be of great importance to me as well. They offer a variety of options for those. Even a factory performance exhaust system. Blessings from Georgia USA 🙏🏼 🪶 👆

yea, I miss having that bike now and then however service for it was important and a bit of a drive (and not a fun one) from me. When I can accept that I need more than one bike I might get a stone for running around town. We will see. Thanks so much for your comment
