I just bought the Moto z play and this video seriously reinforced my feeling about purchasing this phone. It's pretty cool to see that there will be an aftermarket for the Moto mods. I haven't bought one yet but this phone is definitely going to stick with me for a while.

Forgot to mention I bought it "used" of off eBay. I don't see a scratch on the thing. I think that it might actually be new. I bought it for 209.99. absolutely worth every penny.

I replaced my Nexus 6p with the Moto Z Play recently, and I'm absolutely loving it. Just being able to end every day with 30%+ battery life makes it a winner in my book. The 6p had to be constantly plugged in.

I have the off grid power pack with my z force. I charge once a day so I rarely NEED to use it. Inconvenient to only be able to charge it when it's on the phone... I use my sound boost a lot. Of all the mods, the car dock actually seems to be the most practical future mod purchase for me.

Justin Moyer just bought the z2 force. Also bought the car dock, and extra battery mod for it. The dock is great, u can charge and listen to music as the z2 doesn't have an auction cord which was almost my reason for not buying. But I took the chance and am loving it so far. Oh and it came with a free projector, can't beat that

the makr Almost all flagships on Verizon are unlocked to use on GSM. I have the Moto Z Droid and the first thing I did was put my T-Mobile sim in it.

My condolescence. Americans seem to really get screwed over by carriers. Carrier branding, carrier bloatware, carrier locking, carrier exclusives... I'm so happy I invested in buying a Moto Z Droid. This is why I brought a Moto Z (even though I sometimes regret not getting the Z play or Z force) because when a company releases a phone in 2019/2020 that can charge wirelessly with it in your hand, Motorola will probably release a mod to do the same thing on my 2017/2016 phone. No need to upgrade phones to get new features, I can add hardware to my phone via the mods.

I still use the Mophie Juice Pack. It's slow to charge but slap it on Efficiency Mode and it damn lasts a full day and then some on extremely grueling heavy use.

External Bluetooth Speaker for the win. I don't feel like a phone requires charging on the go these days. And on rare days that I do, I do have a slim charger. Also, as someone who appreciates a large camera, don't expect any better photos with that Hassleblad mod.

The battery mod certainly has some appeal, even if you can't share it. The speaker mod is a harder sell. That said, it is small compared to most bluetooth speakers.

And, for some weird reason, other than the Motorola Power Pack, that is only being sold in a pack with the Z2 Play, none of the other new Mods(or Snaps, as Lenovo call them here) were launched (yet?) in Brazil. And Lenovo usually treats Brazil well, seems to be quite a good market for them.

I'm definitely looking forward to you reviewing the physical keyboard Moto Mod and comparing it to the KEYone's physical keyboard. It will make for a nice comparison in terms of the phones as well. If LG couldn't do it despite making the LG Enact, Motorola and it's more streamlined software can! Although, the new Motorola phones need the Moto Maker customization options, to bring back even more fun personality to it. Considering manufacturing companies are coming back to the US thanks to Trump's "magic wand," maybe Motorola will be next to come back to the US and thus the Moto Maker will be fully optimized!

I just got the Moto Z2 Play last week, and my provider, Freedom Mobile (a Canadian carrier) gave me the projector for free. Although in Canada this phone is quite a bit more expensive than in the States ($680 outright) I'll only end up paying 360 dollars for it in the end once my tab is paid off, and with that free projector, that's a pretty sweet deal. Overall it's a great phone.

It's great to have a high quality ecosystem of accessories (one of the greatest strengths of iPhones) for a series of Android phones. However, what makes the iPhone stuff great is that the phones behind them are top notch, so people then want to buy stuff for it. As cool as Mods are, it doesn't mean much if the phones powering them are lackluster. The Z2 Play looks like a step in the right direction though, so maybe I'll think differently later on.

I'm sad to say my Moto Z3 recently broke, and I had it since day of launch. Barely any slowdown from then to death, and a minor repair was only needed on it. Since Motorola now doesn't provide any new phones of the Z line, I have no more use for my mods. I plan on getting myself possibly the new Moto G Stylus 5G. I'd love to see you review it before I consider getting one though, but being so long without a smartphone and how dependent society is on it now is painful. So many services that require "Phone verification", despite not having a phone and no other alternative they offer (Some dont do email), I would like to see if the new Moto G is a grand phone, or a flop. No matter what, I'm sticking with Motorola, been a customer for them since I had the Droid Mini growing up, and moving on to the Droid Turbo 2. Sad they will never release a Z5
