Moto Mods Insta-Share Projector & JBL Sound Boost [REVIEW]

I used the projector to turn my garage into a drive-in movie theatre worked out great, and yes you simply plug in your phone and it will run all night. To overcome the sound problem I use a bluetooth speaker or bluetooth soundbar. It's my hottest electronic and everybody goes crazy over it when I show it off.

It's not meant for that however, that's why it's called "insta-share" It's just a mobile way of showing a group something you'd like to share that's on your phone. Course the problem with that is you need a very dark room but nonetheless

no you dont need a very dark room at all. so that is not a problem . also I have projected to over 100 inches with this device it is amazing and fun .

Sirvice Man It's only 50 lumens, so in order to see it *well* you need a fairly dark envrionment, the quality is mediocre but still acceptable for its purpose. After all what can you expect from something so small and compact, so I think what he's trying to say is that it's still not quite worth 300 dollars, which really it shouldn't be, however I think it's a great little gadget mod for sharing things that happens to be on your phone with others.

sir , thank you for your quick response however I actually own this device and I do not think you do, and Iv used this every day since i bought it, The quality is amazing and should not be reviewed by someone who does not own and use it. I love it for presentations on the fly and also for watching tv when i dont want to cast to my 4k big screen .

Good review. The auto keystone correction is a nice feature. Does the phone screen have to be on the whole time you are projecting, or can it be disabled for watching a movie or playing games etc. to extend battery life? Thank you.

love the cb warped, one of my favorite games. can you pair blue tooth controller, blue tooth speaker, and projector mod all at once? I have the JBL speaker and I'm considering the projector, but because the phone is so thin (thinnest on the market I believe) the speakers aren't great. it comes with the headphone jack extension but jw how many blue tooth connections it can handle?

The main downside to the projector in my useless opinion, is the low resolution. 720p would have been really nice. I wouldn't mind at all if this mod was twice as thick and more expensive, to accommodate a higher resolution. As it is, though, I don't know... It's awesome the way it interfaces with the phone, but is that really worth it over a nicer standalone portable unit? Also, if they made it bigger, they could put some nice speakers and you'd have a 2-in-1

I bought the z force, great phone battery, phone can do alot of things, almost to your personality likes, phone is water resistant, fell in a 3 inch deep water puddle with mud and got the phone and quickly out of it, and nothing happened to the phone, other than mud getting in the charging port, still works great, reliable screen doesn't crack that easy, great phone camera, currently bought the wireless battery power pack mod and it's awesome I work out in the no where in the oil fields and it's great to have this phone, highly recommend this phone to outside working people, only dislike the screen is not bright enough when it's hit by direct sun light

That is very impressive. I'm currently in the market for a new phone and everything out there seems exactly the same to me, a bit smaller, a bit larger - who cares. I had the original projector smart phone back in 2012, Galaxy Beam, which was an amazing experience, but it broke down soon after. Still, I've been waiting for 4 years for another projector-phone to come out.

I love my Z2 play with the projector mod. It's good for watching movies just keep it plugged in and it will run as long as you need it to.

prrr opop i had an axaa p700 that was 700 lumen on battery power it wasnt much better than this one which is 15 luumen laser projectors to be honest lol the contrast is still good on the 700 lumen blqcks looled grey. it was weak' :) this is the celluon pico pro

i had to refund my 700 bucks i got for the axaa p700 because it sucked, i had to use a 27" screen to get the colors to be bright engoough, because they were pretty washed out, and then the blacks were grey because it was too bright, I recommend laser

Wrong. The battery in the projector itself lasts an hour and then you have the phone battery to rely on. You could get through a 2.5 hour movie without requiring a recharge as long as your phone is fully charged before you start

I hate it too but thankfully I was able to remove them with no problems. My Moto Z Force is a demo unit from a Verizon store event so I can't say if those apps are preinstalled out of the box. I will be sure to mention my feelings about those apps in my final review.
