【Moto Vlog】Vol.34 豚みそ丼と剣ヶ峰駐車場でパラグライダーが飛ぶ。堂平山 Harley FLSTF 1450 TC88 Fatboy

In mid-August, I headed to Chichibu, craving the local specialty, pork miso bowl.
On the way, I visited Ken-ga-mine and Mt. Dodaira, enjoying the scenic views.
I drove along narrow mountain roads, with quite a bit of fallen leaves along the way.
At Ken-ga-mine, I had my first chance to see paragliders taking off from the Ken-ga-mine parking area.
Going further up, I reached the Dodaira Observatory.
It seems to be a rest stop for road bikers!
I enjoyed the view from Mt. Dodaira, which stands at an elevation of 867 meters.
After that, I descended to the lowlands and visited Chichibu Nikuju Soba Yamaju for the pork miso bowl.
Unlike the famous "Waraji Katsu" in Chichibu, this had a lighter, more delicate flavor.
I enjoyed it as part of a set meal with a small serving of soba.
8月中旬、秩父名物 豚みそ丼を食したく、秩父へ。
途中、剣ヶ峰、堂平山へ行き、景色を堪能。
道中、狭い峠道を走る。落葉も結構あり。
剣ヶ峰では、剣ヶ峰駐車場でパラグライダーが飛んでいく光景を初めて生で見れた。
さらに上に行くと、堂平観測所。
ロードバイクの方々の休憩場所?!
堂平山で景色を堪能。標高867m。
その後、下界へ下り、秩父肉汁そば山寿で、豚みそ丼を食する。
秩父で有名な草鞋かつとはまた違い、あっさりとした味わい。
ひとくちそば付きの御膳で美味しくいただいた。
