+TheMias24 I have both. The Nexus 6 is still pretty dang fast, and I still prefer it over my Galaxy S6 (which I sold). For the price, the N6 is a great deal if the size doesn't bother you. $300 for wireless charging, more usable ram than the Moto X, and a larger amoled screen. It's the best $300 phone you can get by a mile. It doesn't feel quite as zippy as the moto X, but I think thats due to the native encryption on the N6. In everyday tasks it's still as fast as the best of them.

I had to make a call between getting one of the two phones. It was close but I ended up going with the Nexus 6. What tipped me in that direction were the AMOLED display and updates. Motorola(under Google) did update devices quickly but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Regardless, Nexus devices always get updates the fastest and it will probably get longer term support even thought the Nexus 6 is older. I also lost confidence in Motorola after they announced that some versions of the Moto X 2014 edition will not be getting Marshmallow and the 8 month old Moto E won't be getting it either. Motorola downsized their development team to cut costs and that can't be good form a device support perspective.

+Sony Lamour I'll give you what's the likelihood of this comparison. Moto X suffers in low light. G4 pretty dam good. Moto X has speakers that are even better than the HTC Boom sound while the G4 is loud but fires at your hand rather than at you. The U/I on the pure is pure Android enjoyment while the G4 is taking up valuable storage space with useless LG apps and whatever else your carrier wants to put on it. Moto X pure clear winner in everything except camera in low light. which unless your the type of person who frequents the club alot you really won't give a 2 flips.

It's not great in extreme low light. in moderate light it's not too bad though. I'll even go so far to say that it feels way faster than my old Galaxy S6 edge in day to day use.

Marios5556​ I have enjoyed the deep blacks of the display on my galaxy s6 edge, and while the the other display may be more accurate in terms of color, it is not as pleasing to look at. But aesthetics aside, for me its mostly a utility. For mobile technology anyway, amoled is the best thing since sliced bread just for the fact that on screen notifications make so much more sense. Utility.

You can use a flash drive with an OTG USB to micro USB adapter for expandable storage. Plus the Nexus 6 is cheaper. It's up to you. I would get the Nexus 6 just because its cheaper.

Bought my Moto pure about 2 weeks ago on sale for $240 at Best Buy. I could not be happier. I have used Oneplus, Samsung, Blu, and LG. This is the best all around phone money can buy. I am talking real world experience, not playing games all day. I am an adult so playing games all day are not my style. However, my nieces play sometimes with no problems. It has a beautiful screen, good camera, and fast charging. I am not a brand freak, but this phone has won me over. For a regular adult, I see this phone lasting a few years. I think you have to be an idiot to spend $500+ on a phone.

Alve Rolle 64 bit is more like a marketing gimmick, in theory a 64 bit can handle way more information and data at the same time (as example exynos7420) also with a 64 bit processor you can use more than 4 gigs of ram and here is the big fat BUUUUUT if you have a weak ass processor as example QSD615 which is an octa core witch 2x 4 cortex a53 cores, those cores are lame and weak compare it to a QSD805 which is 32bit Quadcore, its like you compare 8 skinny dudes with 4 huge bodybuilders in a death match we know who whins, as for the lame 808 it's just a hexa core 64bit coupled with 3 gigs of ram which is why i say its a gimmick because if you can make use of more than 4 gb ram why using 3gb other than marketing it has no meaning, ok lets return, the 808 has 4 weak ass cortex a53 which are again 4 skninny guys and 2 Cortex A57 which is stronger but again you have 4 Skinny guys + 2 Bodybuilders vs 4 Bodybuilders thus the 4 still wins because the weak skinny dudes gets demolished but in terms of processing power both are pretty much at the same leven with the 805 being slightly better couples with a better GPU - there you go son

I mean all 3 of them have good screens and are within my budget. Then: - Moto x: apparently the best speakers of the bunch, expandable storage, and 808. - Nexus 6: the cheapest, amoled screen, and quick software updates. But you're stuck with fixed memory. 805 I can live with, although it shares the 32 bits problem with the Z3. - Z3: real waterproofing, design, and dat battery life is crazy. But 801... And I'm just hoping Sony will keep updating their legacy Z line devices, otherwise I wouldn't even consider it. I care about multimedia, battery life, and camera quality. All 3 are great for multimedia (audio seems to be sensibly better in the Moto X, not just the speakers but the audio readings themselves), I'm just not sure which is the best camera. It seems it's the Moto X's, but I'd like some feedback on that matter. Thanks!

+JeffDvrx I've had the both z3 and nexus 6. I adored the nexus 6 the z3s front facing speakers are no where near the nexus 6. The nexus felt big for a couple of days but after that I was enamoured with it if I didn't break it's screen I'd still have it right now. The z3 was good but it got boring quickly and the funny part is without covers the nexus felt more secure in hand and the nexus reduced the amount of time I spent on the pc and IPad. I'm looking to get a new device but moto x pure is too pricey in the UK, the z3 is tempting but prices of the nexus 6 are tumbling so I'm just waiting for a storm white 64gb nexus 6 and I'll be set for life.

+JeffDvrx nexus 6 rear camera is good in light but it really struggles in low light. Z3 is similar but if you take a selfie with beautification on it softens the images so much when you zoom in they look smudgy and the only way to turn it off is to turn of beautification and restart the phone and remember to never turn it on again. It wasn't a big issue for me because phone cameras aren't a selling point for me

16 gigs on the Moto X is a joke! I got this from BB. The phone is phenomenal in almost everything it does except one very important feature..... storage!!!!! The BB employee convinced me that I had nothing to worry about because this has expandable storage and me being the newbie Android user believed him. Within 3-4 days I had less than 4 gigs of storage left. With all of my music and photos on my 64 Gig micro SD card. the phone starts off using 5.5 of the 16 and it didn't take long for the apps to add up. Most Apps will not download to the sd card for some reason. If you go to BB you'll see now that all of the 32 Gig versions are gone. With BB reps telling you that they have no clue as to when it will be coming back into stock or if it even will at all come back into supply. In closing Beware of the 16 Gig smartphones there for people who use it as a phone first and a smartphone somewhere next to dead last.

After use of towers motherboard damage automatically, moto service is also not good. when I went to service center for repairs they cost me 350 nonrefundable and unable to repair. mobile is very complex H / w inside non removable battery. Device battery and temperature keep on increasing while using. I totally unhappy and disappointed for this product. West of 30k bugs please dont buy.
