Question... why only 9 laps? #2... does Daytona host track days?

9 laps due to the long lap times ~ 1;50's to 2;10's and all the races they have to accomplish in one weekend of racing, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Remember the 200 on Sunday, I think is the only race. (however, I think they start practice on Tuesday or Wednesday. I never heard of them having track days....however the amateur series do race here also. If your in Florida, just google motorcycle track days or go to individual tracks websites and look it up, most host track days...

@@jimmyjimjim3054 if you got a sport bike, and a few bucks to spare, definitely do some track days....one of the best things I ever done. I did a season + of track days, then went and got my racing license....such a blast...
