Thank you for showing these full races during the winter! Winter is a wonderful time for me to catch up on the racing I missed due to all the work I do outside in the warmer months. 😀

I dislike it when Mesa settles for the points and gives up on getting on the podium. One reason I watch MotoAmerica on KZbin is Mesa and also Gagne. However, I don't see Gagne anymore.

How do they allow a 900 plus cc bike with 600 and 750 cc bikes?

Looking into the MotoAmerica regulations, it's not exactly clear what is employed on the Ducati to keep the race more competitive. The engine displacement range is wide. The announcers did mention MotoAmerica ECU supplied for the bikes. I'm guessing they hold back maximum RPM, perhaps engine air intake restriction, motorcycle total weight (with rider) any number of other things might be done to attempt to create more even competition.

I for one don’t think the restrictions and controls are doing enough to even the playing field. I do like Fores but put him on a 600 like Hayes and see what happens

So it takes a 955cc Ducati to beat 600, 636 and 750 bikes 😂. Can Suzuki make a 998cc bike to compete against 955cc Ducati’s?😂 that’s just absurd

iam hating on that ducati as well. 750s have raced 1000 twins before but i feel like its freakin open class having 600s in there. i accept it though realisticlly the 600-750 4 cyl should be making more power. the 950 duc is claiming 110hp stock. the R6 has made 116-120hp for years

@@bosqueblanco3744 the 750 has 121hp the zx6r has 127hp r6 has 117hp and then the Ducati has 155hp and everyone wonders why the Ducati is winning 😂

@@GiixxersquidYeah what the hell are they doing? Also 2nd and 3rd place were gsxr 750's. They need to do something to make it more fair for everyone.

There's regulations galore with the bikes, if you read through the MotoAmerica technical regulations (available online). I'm not exactly sure what all is employed to bring the playing field into more level competition. I'm guessing max RPM, perhaps air intake restriction, total motorcycle weight (with rider) other things are employed to not make certain engines have such advantage.

Motoamerica and sbk is so much more fun to watch than motogp now. The way they ruined the bikes in motogp is the reason why i stop watching. Plus no Americans reprepsentitive so kind of made me stop watching for awhile

@@chadkline4268 Difference between wordsbk or even motoamerica vs motogp is the motorcycles sbk and motoamerica uses are bikes you can buy from dealerships. Motogp uses custom concept bikes only created for motogp. Also motogp bikes can cost up to millions of dollars to modify while sbk and motoamerica have a money limit on motofying their bikes. The reason why I dont like how Motogp is doing with their bikes is they added wings on the bike noses to give more down force which causes more crashes and riders less control of the corner for some reason. Alot of motogp riders doesnt like the new rules and design of the new motogp bikes. They have to add wings on the front of the bike for no reason

@@epicwolf I read that the winglets on the S1000RR create a down force of 30lbs or so. Ok, thanks 👍 I was hoping electronics would be banned 🙂 I don't like the idea of the man with the best electronics winning .. for some reason.

@@chadkline4268 Well that is also why i dont like motogp sometimes cus the bike with the best electronics usually wins. Motogp has no limit of how much money a team can spend on their bikes so if a team willing to spend alot usually wins. Thats why you always see typical team wins like the Factory teams or Ducati. Rarely you see a Satalite team win or any other smaller team. So the actual skill of the riders depends alot on how much money a team willing to spend. Not saying motogp riders are less skilled than worldsbk or motoamerica. They the best in the world and getting into motogp is every sportsbike riders dream but at times I wish they let the riders show their skills more instead of how much money they can throw into that motorcycle.

@@epicwolf great information 👍 I think many will find it valuable .. minor correction: The composite plastic winglets on BMW’s new S 1000 RR generate 37.7 pounds of aerodynamic downforce at 186 miles per hour. BMW says the winglets’ downforce counteracts the front wheel’s tendency to lift off when accelerating, resulting in less intervention from the bike’s dynamic traction control (DTC) and greater acceleration.

I see where Josh Hayes was given a 5 second penalty, had he completed the race, for leaving early, but I looked at the video in slow motion and he DID NOT leave early.

10:48, yes he did...go frame by frame and he's literally one frame ahead of the lights going off. So that's ~ 0.03 secs to soon....

@@raynic1173 Not according to what I see. I slowed the video down to 1/4 speed and the lights went out before he moved.

@@JohnSmith-ug5ci no, you have to stop/pause the video, then advance it one frame at a time by using your arrow keys, on your computer's keyboard, then you'll see it. He's literally one frame faster, like I said. One frame at 30 fps is just over 3/100ths of a second...

@@raynic1173 nope. That makes the view incorrect because a whole frame is too much. Slow the video to 1/4 speed and you see clearly that the lights went out first.

@@JohnSmith-ug5ci no, something's wrong here with your rational. 1/4 speed or 0.25x on the playback speed option under "settings," is not slower than pausing and going frame by frame. It sounds like you've never done "frame by frame" before(?). Are you doing this on your phone? If so, this is most likely the problem. You need either a laptop or a PC with an actual keyboard...
