Motocamping | Martin Head

Welcome back fellow riders,
it was time to take the Kraken out of it's deep sleep and go for a motocamping ride! ‪@nbdra923‬ was hosting a recreational event where a number of folks across the province and from PEI joined us for this amazing ride.
If you want to get a full perspective of the ride, take a look at Eric's channel for a great video (‪@IslandADV‬ ) As always, the ride offers a varied mix of terrain from easy dirt roads, loose rocks and sand.
Unfortunately, I only filmed the final approach to the ride, including the beach. I was unfortunately plagued with a flat tire and a couple of patch failures thereafter. Thankfully, a trailside tire repair is only about 20 minutes total so not a total setback!
This ride is a staple in the motocamping adventures as the destination makes it absolutely worth it. A huge shoutout to all the folks who gave us wood which made our night so much better as we rocked the bond fire.

It's rare that I get to see my wipeouts from this angle. After that truck, for whatever reason, I grabbed the clutch and just started rolling, lol. Great trip man. Glad everyone had a good time.

Thankfully, the fall was a slow one and on the good side of the hill...lol I always enjoy this trip. I was glad you were able to join us!

Hey Hugo. Road looks better than it did when I went down in May. How is the hill to the beach? Want to take my wife on her XT

I think the hills is great. A little loose at the bottom but overall it's pretty good.

Also I suspect you are very familiar with what’s called the Caledonia Gorge? Any tracks/route you could suggest for us? I know it’s pretty much in our backyard but we just discovered it last weekend lol
