This was the turning point in the battle between the USA and mxgp!! 2007 budds creek was the wake up call!!! That American riders went full steam from the gate! I remember Ken de dyker saying he was shocked at villoopotos speed at Budds Creek from the start and after that the euros changed that.

I don't believe any of the 250Fs were Fuel Injected at this point. I believe the 08 RMZ 450 was the first stock MXer with FI so those would have been fuel injected. The 09 Kawasaki KX 450Fs and Honda CRF450Rs were fuel injected so its very possible they were running 09 KXs and CRs at this point in late 2008. The YZs didn't go with FI until 2010 when they went to that "reverse engine" design on the 450s. The 250Fs started getting FI in 2010 with Yamaha being the last hold out not getting it until 2014.
