RIPPING a Triumph Scrambler through the PHILIPPINES | Baler to Benguet

From sea to summit... Our mission was clear and the target destination was the Lake Tabeo campsite in Kabayan. By now, I've learned the basics of responsible "kamote" riding in the Philippines.
This was a long slog and crazy twisty motorcycle ride on the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC. Touge madness... Traveling from tropical beach camping on the warm coast of Aurora at Dibut Bay up into the cold mountains of Benguet, well into the night. The scenic views were breathtaking in the morning when we left for Sagada. A minor hiccup separated us and I raced a storm alone, apparently beating a series of landslides that came down right behind me. What an adventure. A road trip for the books!

I camped Tabeo on a December. It was so cold, we woke-up next day at 3 in the morning with our tent covered in frost. We then climbed the mountain there called Mt Tabayoc, and got rewarded with a sunrise above a sea of clouds. Beautiful place.

Mate I appreciate the effort that you put into these videos. I just completed a trip around the whole of Ireland and struggled filming it with the insta x3 and ace pro. Struggle in regards to knowing knowing when to record and when not to...then coming back home to edit the footage and peice something together worth watching....gees man its serious work involved. 3:09 more cons than pros 😅 going FULL KAMOTE. based on firsthand experience But the trick there is just be very, extra cautious when lane splitting and overtaking other vehicles on the curves (especially blind curves)

Having a loud big bike helped. I noticed most would check their mirrors as they heard me pull up behind them, and the power helps to get out of anything sticky. I’m cautious though, always

How are you liking this Scrambler 1200 compared to your Street Scrambler (900?). I'm thinking about getting Bonneville T120, Scrambler 900 or Scrambler 1200.

The 1200 was the bomb and more capable. My Street Scrambler is more agile in the corners though. Test ride your choices if you can!
