seeing this BEAUTIFUL track just reignited a long-time childhood dream of mine of poliphony adding these scenic maps as "open road" options too for us to drive beyond the closed tracks...they don't need to be big, but it would give such an incredible level of freedom and possibilities to the 'real driving simulator' that is GT. I think it is the only game of this niche that could pull something like this off, a relaxing freeroam mode to test-drive the cars and discover beautiful places around the world - after all Gran Turismo has always been an art, passion and style-driven game

@@jamiro5307 Not really massive if it would be under heavy supervision, and we can say bye-bye to 90% of the modders from AC1 I will fade away if I have worked on a race car from the ground up for 4 months only to be rejected by the team that's using it irl because "containing too much personal information that can be copied"

As a huge Porsche fan and an admirer of the 992 Turbo S, I’m absolutely thrilled to see this car added in the 1.54 update of GT7! However, while the addition is fantastic, I feel the "experience" and "immersion" could be slightly improved with a few tweaks: - Active aero missing: It's disappointing that we need to go through GT Auto to activate the front spoiler extension and rear wing instead of having dynamic aero like the real car. - Engine sound: At low revs, it’s great, but beyond 3000 RPM, the sound feels off-it resembles the RUF RGT 4.2 rather than the real 992 Turbo S. -Dashboard display: The absence of the speed indicator below the tachometer (present in all real-life 992s, including the GT3 RS in the game) is a small yet noticeable detail. - Daytime running lights (DRL): When the parking lights are on, the DRLs don't illuminate, which is not accurate. Edit : Actually, I was mistaken-the DRLs are active when the parking lights are on. However, their intensity is far too low, making them appear as if they’re turned off. I noticed this in the long straight under the tunnels on the Deep Forest track. These are minor issues that I hope Polyphony Digital can address in future updates to make the car even more authentic. That said, I’m still excited to test it out in-game!

DRLs not lighting up has been a issue with Gran Turismo 7 since forever, only a few select cars actually have them like the AMG GT Black Series. Truly a shame considering how they always have great attention to detail

The model is exquisite but the sound could be better, i mean the engine notes are a bit off (the note over all seem more N/A (GT3) than Turbocharged .) but the rpm pattern and soo on is realistic. PD: active aero not working? digital speedometer ?? mmm somethings missing here.

GT7 seems to lack active aero on Porsche cars. 918 and Carrera GT's spoilers are not active either. It's quite odd.

@@justmax3095 yeep its more muted and less direct or responsive, i mean it's kinda hard to put it in words really but you can clearly diferenciate the engine note of the GT3 and the engine note of the Turbo S and this one in "high rpms" sounds like a GT3, not like a Turbo S.

Its rear wing doesn't move up via the car's speed, but the mode set by the driver (the same also goes for the 918 Spyder). It's strange indeed since the press release says it also works as an air brake at a high speed braking.

In gran turismo 8 i wish we can spec the interior in whatever way we can irl. Change stitching colours, material, specs of acessories so on and on... i mean its not that hard, its just textures right?

Yesterday I did a race at Lemans, starting at night and ending at dawn, and the change is very big between having Ray tracing enabled or not. The bad thing about KZbin is that it does not show the real differences, you put a comparison on KZbin between 1080p vs 4K and you barely see the change, now you play it on your 4k screen and the jump is more than evident.

The 992 Turbo S. After witnessing that FH5 gets it, I’m glad it arrives to GT7 next. Lucky opportunity! This is one of the best cars in this new update IMO! With the 992 GT3 RS being added last year in Spec II, PD decided to add another Porsche 911 that’s designed for the road rather than just having only one that’s built for racing in the tracks with a lot of downforce. You want a modern sports car? Here’s your answer. Just hope for more of them to come whatever you want. Lol The 911 Turbo is one of Porsche’s well-known creations since the 930 in 1975, evolving all the way to the present. The 992 Turbo S was introduced in March 2020, and it has two new factory options such as Active Suspension Management and Sport exhaust. I noticed a few inconsistencies which is the Rear wing not being animated, the Engine sound is great but it’s a bit off, and Digital speedometer is not working. PD should definitely have some more effort adding more cars like these. I couldn’t wait much longer now!

Why is the active aero not working at all? Also the sound is very off compared to the real thing. Felt more like a GT3 than a Turbo. Edit : apparently PD somehow left the car in "Normal" setting which disables the active aero. Dumb decision tbh

You have clearly not played gt7, gt7 dosent have bad sounds, this is not gt6 time to wake up, The turbo sounds is not the same for every car, it just prooves you have not played it. Gt7 is not far behind the best sounding racing games on the market.
