MotoGP Valencia & Michelin Power 5, Power GP and Power Cup 2 Test Ride

At the Michelin Power Experience we had several motorcycles with either the Michelin Power 5, the Michelin Power GP or the Michelin Power Cup2 tires on them. We were able to try them all out and in this video I want to help you decide, which of these is the right one for you.
I'm also taking you to Ricardo Tormo, the racetrack of Valencia, where we watched the final MotoGP race of this season 2022. Hope you enjoy the video!

Good video👏 Looks like you were having a great time, so lucky wish I could’ve seen the race live. The power cup 2 come on my bike stock but ended up not doing any of the track days like I told my mates I was going to do. So the power 5 lives on the bike now.

I have Michelin Road 5s fitted to my Speed Triple 1050 S, theyre absolutely amazing tyres. As you said, Juliane, they give you confidence, especially when the conditions are damp or cold, as we get quiet often in the UK. I've also ridden with them on track and again they were amazing! I'd be interested to see how the Power 5s compare! 😃

Great video thanks for the upload, I’ve been using power 5 on my cb1000r and power gp when I go to the track ( I ride to the track) and they have been fantastic, maybe I’ll try the power cup2 this year and see

I prefer the older Power Pilot 2CT's, quite a bit cheaper than the Power 5's and just as good in all weather sports bike riding on the road.

Very interesting, I like PP2CT, pity it doesn't come in 200 for Superduke but maybe I will fit a 190.. this 17 year old tire is still relevant.

I run the GP on my single R, and the Cup on my track bike. I compare the cup 2 with a super corsa maybe the td and like a Q3/4. Amazing tires, I have no complaints at all so far, except for when you really push your pace on track you’ll eventually need to run a race tire, but the cup goes a really long way for sure.

The Power GP is definitely more of a hot/dry weather and track day tire. The true street tires are the Power 5 and the Road 6.

Pirelli Diablo Rosso is what you really need. Ducati, MV Agusta, Aprilia, Triumph, Kawasaki, Indian, etc. can’t be wrong.
