I've only done a small bit of professional web development, but this presentation manages to touch upon pretty much every single gripe i had with the process. Wow. Everything i read about DFINITY/ICP/Motoko i just keep asking: What's the catch? This all seems to good to be true!

the documentation is hit or miss. I guess there is no way to download the SDK on windows. Kind of a bummer.

Hey Dominic! In the first slide you present Dfinity's data centers as a replacement to both Wifi and Cellular providers. How exactly do you plan to uproot these legacy systems. In the case of cellular, Dfinity would need an audio codec to allow for VOIP, an exciting aspiration on its own. I know implementing an audio codec was a large chunk of the research undergone by Greg Meredith. Would love to see you guys team up. Thanks Dominic!

If we are interacting with other canisters that some person created, we are going to need some sort of formal agreement that what I expect to receive is what I will receive. Some sort of persistent interface that is visible and updates when changes are made. I think you'll run out of funding before any major enterprise systems decide to migrate across. Can you imagine Amazon on this platform 🤣 - sounds really cool and interesting though, just a bit too far forward. Build the stepping to stones to get there, don't just get there
