Hi can UMN or LMN result from lesions/ leaking disc/ injury in the spinal cord or does it cause this symptom in any way?

Hello! A posterolateral disc herniation could press on the nerve root and cause compression. And thus you could get both LMN symptoms corresponding to that myotome, but you could also get loss of sensation in that dermatome aswell!
