Fun derby but surprised anyone thinks its o.k. to shine a laser pointer into someone's eyes. The drivers might make that guy get the pointer shining where the sun don't shine.

The officials do that when the drivers aren’t seeing the red flags.. It’s a safety measure some even shine spot lights on drivers to get attention or someone could get hurt

It's anything but a safety measure. Think of the ethics and legal consequences of damaging someone's vision when there are spotlights, traffic lights, horns, and flagmen that don't damage vision. Just a remarkably stupid way to stop a derby.

Once the wheel broke off the Cadillac, he should just saved it for another day, clearly not winning at that point, and the car was still in good shape, just my opinion
