@@gerekappo This is indeed an AI generated voice. I do my best to make it sound as best as possible, and I get better with every video. I use AI voice not to make AI slop or to look for shortcuts, but because my real voice is just not good for narration, not to mention a terrible accent. (Yeah thats funny with how much accent the AI voice has, but it has a nice charater in my opinion). As a matter of fact working with AI voice is terrible and time consuming with the lack of control and sometimes I have to stich together several takes to make a good sounding sentence. But for now it is the best option I have. I guess it will be a bad thing for many people but it is what it is. I write, record and edit all my videos personally, and I put as much effort as I can into every single one of them because I love the game and want to help the communtiy and new players. But if AI generated narration is a deal braker for some of you, I respect that.

@@MotorTownHub I am just here as I am thinking about buying this game and was just reading this: I think you use AI as intended. There's no need to feel sorry to use AI if for example your voice isn't up for the task but still you write and edit everything and at the end create something useful for people. I saw lazy AI slop videos and it's pure horror. But I really enjoyed watching this one.

@@gerekappo The tip-off is the native-speaker-sounding narration while making grammatical mistakes that a native speaker doesn't have to think about. It points to small typos or minor errors that are easy to miss when read. That said, I enjoy the accented voice, and the narration is very clear and helpful. I'm not trying to downplay that at all.

i try to set up a route and park the motorhome at the final stop. then i can fast travel and deliver the last 10 meters on my own to get the whole payout.

I am glad you saw it 😀 I initially tried to give credit to everyone whose liveries I used, but since many shots contain several vehicles it turned into a mess so I gave up on this idea. I will always try to feature cool liveries in my videos and in the future I will find some good way to give credit to authors, like I did in the “hidden vehicles” video.

Great video, unfortunately it didn't fix my issue of trucks simply driving back and forth completely empty. Ended up selling my trucks and bought busses instead and that's actually working for me.

@@MK6gtiguy Produce to the supermarkets. The same exact route started working when I changed the destination to Santa's Cabin. They just refused to pick anything up from the farms if the destination was the supermarkets, no matter which one or status of the supply timers.

@@Caffeinated-DaVinci maybe try supplying the farms with pallets on the same run, thats how i have mine working. That does sound funky though.

@@MK6gtiguy The route I mentioned above has stopped working, along with both alternative routes that I've created to allow them to restock. Even my entirely separate tanker run stopped paying anything. Crude to Docks then taking fuel anywhere else on the way back to Crude pays 175 or less every time with the NPC driver but pays out much more when I do it, and that's assuming they actually pick up anything at the crude instead of just driving off empty. Bus system is in a similar state. Was making about 4k a day from one of the routes, then I upgraded the bus to have 34 seats instead of 13 and suddenly the pay drops to 1k or less per day.

We need more tutorials like this, and I hope this game gets more completed as current development is very good..and I've enjoyed the game allot. The only reason I dont keep playing is I find the money made by these company vehicles to be too low to be worth the effort and dedicated servers aren't very beneficial right now...

I get you. The thing is, it is kind of a fine line to make AI trucks useful but not to turn the game into just an idle tycoon game where AI trucks do all the work. After all, now making money in this game is easier then ever, compared to what it was to two or even 1.5 years ago. But I really feel the sentiment about AI trucks. They do make peanuts, and especially if you consider how much you have to invest into buying trucks and possibly even garage slots for them, you will have to run them for quite a while to make a significant profit.

Yes, to add a new truck you need to buy it first. You can buy some small trucks at a car dealership at Gangjung (the town where your starter house is), or at the Gosan Truck, where most of cargo vehicles sole, it is at a South-Western coast of Jeju Island.

Thanks for commenting, Bug, you are doing a great job on your channel! Since company trucks are not capable of completing the contracts, I don't mention them in this video at all. This video is meant to teach people basics on how to make a functional company, not to min max profit per minute. For a moment I was confused if you didn't mean this comment for a Santa's Cabin video, but I do have a contract signed there when I deliver pallets.

I set up a contract to deliver fuel to a dairy farm and milk to a cheese factory. Then set up my tanker truck to do these deliveries with AI driver. But i noticed the deliveries didnt count towards the contract, even though i were confirming that the deliveries were being made. Do i have to do something different or are AI drivers simply not able to do contracts?

@@sgt_kissekatt6686 AI trucks are not contributing towards the completeon of the contracts unfortunately. Many people disagree with it but it’s developer position for now it seems.

While I have your attention, is there a way I can have a truck only pick up a few pallets of one product from a farm, so it will pick up say 2 pallets of each product before heading to a supermarket? Seems like it always fills it to the max at the first farm.

@@sgt_kissekatt6686 There is no way to do this unfortunately, truck will always pick up as much as it can carry or as much as there is available. But supermarkets can only accept 3 units of most items you deliver there, so it might work. Just be aware that it take supermarket from 20 to 30 minutes to consume one of the items and make space for new ones.

Yes, there is a reason. Unfortunately this is just how the game works =( AI trucks don't contribute to contracts =(

Hey man! So if the supply points are empty is it better to then redirect the route? I've also been experiencing some issues with there being stock on hand but the cargo won't load anyways. i checked both points to see if maybe the demand point was full but that wasn't the case either

Hey! Are you experiencing issues with plastic pallets by any chance? Because at the toy factory and some other places you can run into an issue when there is good amount of pallets in stock, but game "assigns" pallets to other destinations, so you don't get them to where you need them. It is pure RNG unfortunately. Sometimes you may get only one pallet to Santa, and other times you get 20. This issue was fixed for most industries, but I think the Dev forgot about Christmas Event :D
