Motor Tuning

Tuning a 425oz/in stepper motor with a Gecko G540 axis driver.

Hi there, I'm trying to tune my Nema 23 stepper motors. I notice that the smoother sound is with the trim pot all the way down. Also i noticed that the motors make an one second high pitch sound when stopping. Is this normal? Thanks Regards Rui

I wasn't able to tune my gecko drive at 2 revs pers second. I could not find the sweet spot. At 0.5revs per second (the speed recommended in the G250 manual) it was very easy to find the good setting. Just FYI.
