This time we take Stu's SEAT LEON CUPRA TRACK CAR out for some testing to see the difference between Owen's Porsche 911 Turbo Race Car to see what performs better.
Even though there 2 different cars from different times, we wanted to find out if the different tech in cars really make a difference.

Great video guys...back in the day when I first started tuning cars (nearly 40yrs ago) 100 bhp pre litre was the target this was pre turbo so carbs cams and head work was the way to go...if you think a standard 2.0 pinto was only pumping out 101bhp doubling the power was quite an achievement and it was all nut and bolt stuff not plug and play like today so you actually felt like you had a active part in any gains made and also the knowledge and understanding that when things broke you could mend not just hit the reset button 😆 but of course technology moves on and us dinosaurs are struggling to keep up 🤣🤣🤣 great work guys as always looking forward to your next visit 🤙🤙🤙

There’s a world of difference between the desirability between a Seat Leon and pretty much any Porsche regardless of performance which commands the price difference. Owens Porsche is really quite something perfectly blending pedigree, historic importance and performance. This was an interesting performance comparison though and great content! We all want to see what the TT does now that Stu has said that!

We would always go the Porsche, regardless of performance for sure. Affordability is the only issue with that one though. The TT has been tested 0-60 which we should post next week 🤙🏻

Takes a bit of practice to launch a fwd car. My 350hp cupra did a 3.89 30-70mph on its way to 13.34@112 mph 1/4 mile.(5.18 0-60 on draggy)

Got a m5 v10 x5 That’s getting supercharged and maybe a big turbo also but I’ve a turbocharged h2 with a extended rear arm and all the other bits so it doesn’t want to kill me each Time I go on it it’s that bad it wheelspins from 5th to 6th in the dry if you’re giving it the beans scared me to start with but surprisingly addictive quickly 🤪🤪🤪stay safe lads 🙏

@Motor Addicts possible plugs and coils would be my first port of call. Potential a injector issue aswell. I'd keep off the limiter if it's fuel related, you don't want to melt a piston lol

It happened to mine when it was standard it's there I believe to protect the engine from being damaged and usually puts it into limp mode. Only happened to me once but I really did give it beans from a standstill. I think it only happens in first gear though cus I've hit the limiter I'm other gears and never happened since.

Very frustrating watching the 0.60 times lol my 366bhp did a 0.60 in 4.9 after a few trys , first try was still 5.8 seconds.. 1/4 in 12.987... at 113mph

I would presume based on the power the meth isn't mapped in. Should speak to the guys at R-Tech they are the specialists in these engines, ask anyone on the forums everyone uses them that knows their stuff. Also half throttle first till your moving then hang on ever so slightly longer before going into second. Mine is stage 2 at 350bhp and my quickest 0-60 has been 5.3 seconds. These cars make loads of power and when you get used to launching without spin you will fly.
