That is a cracking boat, so flexible with the different configurations and nicely finished off, I was surprised when you showed us the rear cabin, It handled brilliantly out at sea, it did not appear to struggle at all just looked smooth and capable. Definitely a boat to consider in this price range. Great video Hugo thank you.

I have one on order through Neville, Ideal Boats, who have been great. I was glad to see your review and comments on the boat, particularly the doors and frame. Your comment on the boat being great all around and for all seasons is why I bought it. Nice to hear this from someone with more experience than I. I just need to figure out a system for the blinds for privacy and sun protection as I intend to use mine for longer adventures. Any suggestions are warmly welcome. Great video and thank you.

She is an all rounder with her cabins, drop down balconies, smallish heads. Clever use of seats. A great day or weekend boat for all weathers with the close or open wheelhouse. Sleeps 4 comfortable. A good boat with great agility dorys what it says on the tin. Like her.

That boat is pretty cool Hugo, thank you for showing it to us. I really like it and i think if you would have a few fishing pole holders at the bow and about 6 or 8 holders at the back and some at the sides. If you put both side walls down that gives 1 person room to fish, 2 at the back and 1 or 2 at the bow to fish. You can go from port to fishing spot very quickly and catch your limit and get back in record time with this speed boat. I love that boat. Great fishing boat. I bet it might be a good river, lake and bayou boat in the southern states here in the USA. Great boat Hugo, Thank you buddy.

Thanks for the tour of the new Saxdoor. A lot to like, but I find some features almost too clever -- they sort of get in your way. Very much not a fan of the lack of convenient access to side decks for hanging fenders. A lot of competition in the "commuter" niche -- Axopar, Wellcraft, Nimbus, Juneau and Windy to name some. I think the American Boston Whaler 380 Realm competes well, although it's a much heavier, more expensive boat. The Tiara 43 LS is a fine competitor also.

All great boats and ones I looked at. I chose the Saxdor and accepted the compromise of some of the things you rightly mentioned for the upsides, for example, far more room in the cabin, slight better looking and whilst almost as pratical, more stylish and comfy than the Axopar. I think the great thing is that there are enough boats in this category, all slight geared to certain needs that you choose based on that. Time will tell if my decision was right.

66 litres an hour at 16 knots - exactly the same as my Swift Trawler 34 (only I’m buying cheaper diesel….) However, if I try really hard (downhill) I’ve maxed at 21 knots… Nice boat, great review as ever. Has the boat been antifouled? The hull looks as if it’s been in the water a week unprotected. And can you Drystack it? I know the 32 will Drystack - but is this a step too far?

Not sure if it has been antifouled but the dealer was very apologetic it looked a bit green. There wasn’t time to clean it before our test

I don't know why - but I can't put my finger on the reason I just don't care for this boat. I think the best way to describe the way it hits me is - chopped-up layout. Galley feels weak, as though they didn't commit to it. Why not put the fridges side-by-side? Freezer space? No genset? 40', nowadays, I expect a nicer head compartment w/, separate shower, and definitely a larger sink as was noted. The berth is terrible. There are much better ways to do it. Feel like the table and all of that in the bow is excessive when you already have the table in the cabin. Then they could have raised the deck up front, still provided for sunning up there, and then greatly improved the space down below. Provide a proper berth, I'm hoping the interior table coverts to space for two more. And then some TV accommodations down below and up top. There's no commitment to any one area - just a series of compromises. No sale here! ;) Compare this to the Wellcraft 355. I'd add their 425 (435?),but that would be unfair. Those boats are much better kitted out. Not sure of cost comparison, but those Wellcraft's would get my money in a hot second before this one. My friend, on that window opening - please, maybe edit to time-lapse next time? That was laborious to watch that worm drive slloooowwwwlly open it.

And the unspoken part, does this burn 75-190 liters of fuel per hour at 45mph? Where’s the thinking? The seapiper 37 trawler does 1000km with 200 liters of fuel at a slow, comfortable 7 knots. 400gtc is a heavy and comfortable cruiser, why try to make a speed boat out of it when lightweight speed boats are ubiquitous? My preference, the 400gtc helm and interior on the seapiper 37.

Not impressed as the other competitors a lot of shiny/flashy accents to hide the fact that it is a copy of the the original AXOPAR and on top of that service/warranty attention are not there yet(must focus more on clients instead of just the sale)! Access to the AFT cabin is totally an afterthought too much glass everywhere, structure for CABIN vibrates too much especially when crossing inlets like HAULOVER and total giveaway you are new to Boating if you get one of these instead of the Award winning AXOPAR which is much more classier imo instead of a copy Japanese puzzle box.

You get doors and windows as standard, who would have guessed. To me it's over priced, lacks decent accommodation, drinks far too much fuel and has a bland interior, I have no idea who this boat is aimed at.....
