As I have aged, it has become my daily concern to try and help people. I ask myself every day " what have you done today to help someone through whatever?". Maybe just ease their life a little if only for a brief moment. If you have ever asked yourself that Bill, take comfort. My wife, the love of my life, is hospitalized. It's been a rough week. And here I am, helpless. So, I am watching these videos, for yet a third time sitting here next to her hospital bed, as they are my favorite. The view thru the windshield is much like the view thru my own when I'm riding. I can feel the wind, smell the raindrops, hear the hum of the motor beneath me. I can almost see my own reflection in the nacelle. And of course, our Lords image assuring me that all is as it should be. Thanks again for these videos my unknown travel companion and friend. You have no idea how much they are helping me.

How wonderful, what other bike could take centre place in the Honda heritage centre collection? A Valkyrie, unbelievable, I love it. Of all the bikes Honda has produced over its long history, they themselves still recognise its uniqueness and see it as something special. I like your intro where you slip out of your everyday self and assume your true identity, then climb aboard the Valky and take off on an epic journey across the US. Fantastic! Great choice of background music too. Well done, good to see. Keep riding your beautiful Valkyrie and keep up the good work.

You went through my neck of the woos in Columbus Oh, Where I plan to leave from in August to ride to Austin,Texas to visit my youngest brother. I think I will take the Natchez Trace to Mississippi And shoot over that way . But go North on the way home.

Here I am a AGAIN! Watching your videos. You’ve sucked me in to your adventure during my lunch break with the soothing sounds of Bach mixed with motorcycle engine rumbling. Such a great combo. And the scenery! 😎 Thanks for sharing your video, you probably prevented some work place violence with your video vlog! P.S. I like how you got Jesus on your windscreen, even though I’d imagine “He’s a bit darker, with an Afro. “ being from the Middle East and all. But I’m cool with the European version too. What matters is He’s in your heart and your in His.😇

Great video, Bill. The choice of music seemed to sort of rhythmically fit the scenery, and pace also. Well done sir.

Wow. Great ride. Your starting point looked a lot like the alleys in OB where my son lives and where I park a bike to ride when Im out there. And ironically, I life in NJ.

Did that Honda give any mechanical problems on the trip? How many miles does it have on the odometer? Even though that bike is 21 years old, looks like it still runs good. PS: I have a 2007 Honda Shadow.
@pasqualinobillwilder3 жыл бұрын
Not a single mechanical issue. A real peach. I had to do some regular maintenance in New York (after my first 4000k) and a new tire in El Paso, but besides that no issues. I used to have a 2006 Honda Shadow. A great bike - I suspect a 2007 Honda Shadow would make the same journey, no problems.
@williamarinder88093 жыл бұрын
@@pasqualinobillwilder I suspect my Honda Shadow would make that same trip, but I wouldn't, cause I am 76 years old. LOL. But at least I am still on two wheels, and can make short trips. When will you have Part 3 out on a You Tube video?

I wanted to ask, in the morning when packing up your tent. what did you do if it was wet or damp? This has been one of my concerns on how to deal with packing a wet tent and what do you do to make sure when you setup for the next camp that the tent is dry?
@pasqualinobillwilder4 ай бұрын
Sometimes I had no choice but to pack it a little damp. I would make sure that the following evening I stopped early and let it dry off before using it again. When I get home I always give it the heavy duty soap wash.

Great music, good video, but to a general audience, the proselytizing is offensive.

I'm a motorcyclist..... I travel on my Yamaha Fjr1300a. My lst trip was 7835 miles. I had a very overt spiritual calling many years ago. My life for twenty-five years has been a series of paranormal events. I'm not a religious man, but with assurance, our creator exists, and is here for those that are willing to be faithful. "Proselytizing". I think it's just wise not to ignore, that which you maybe just don't realize.

I don't agree. Motorcycle travel is, for many touches our spirit, and lifts us up. Whatever music that helps drive that, is okay.
