Hello folks, I really enjoy your videos. Especially the ones that show your campsites and cooking , water sources, and things like that. I am taking notes and learning from your adventures. I am studying and learning about motorcycle traveling and camping as much as i can. I have rode Harley Davidson's my entire life, but have never pulled a trailer. I now ride a Ultra Classic. I am pulling a Time Out Deluxe camper trailer. It has 23 feet of storage, and im putting 4 waterproof totes on the top of it as well. This should give me plenty of room for everything I want to bring. I have covered all my bases as far as boon docking and dispersed camping. Including a complete shower system called the Base Camp. it pumps and heats water using batteries and propane. And I have a pop up cabana for the shower. I live in north Florida, and plan on heading out the first of May 2021. I will be early retired then, and can plan the weather better at that time. I plan on staying on the road for 60 plus days, touring the entire north and south west

Nothing better than motorcycle camping! I pack a whole lot lighter and still stay comfy. Pick a camp ground with a shower every few days. I either stay in the mountains if summer camping, but most of my motorcycle camping is in the winter! I use a heated jacket till I get a little south, and use a 0 degree bag.

I have done alot of extended camping trips. This isnt criticism just some things that work for me. I tried the low cots but hated trying to get up off them ,I went to a taller cot which helped alot and also gave me a lot more storage underneath them. I use one of the shower tents and heat the water on stove. Take my showers around noon hate to take showers when its cold, The last thing is get you a bunch of the chemical hand warmers they will save the day when weather changes and if you throw one in bottom of bag a few minutes before u crawl in its nice and toasty. Hi guys! Just an FYI. Tomato paste you can buy in a tube like tooth paste. It’s perfect. It’s in the same section as tomato paste, usually on the top shelf. Lasts forever. We camp almost every other week with our motorcycle. I am a RN and have every other week off, soo we escape. Want to find a remote job so we can travel and camp! So happy for you two! Life is way too short..

Wow what a great channel to wake up to. I was watching a movie here on youtube when at some point I dozed off and woke up to find myself watching your channel. Interestingly enough I'm also planning to venture off into the wilds of the wilderness on my bike next year doing the same thing you guys are doing. I live in North carolina and my first trip will be to Maine where I'm originally from and back to NC. shortly after that trip I will be making a second trip around the borders of the country. unlike the two of you I'm planning to make my trips on my 2011 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive. no trailer just the bike with an added Givi trunk and 2 matching side cases and a backpack. before I go though I think I might go and watch your other videos as well. you never know what you will learn before take off.

I like to get the little Tubes of Tomato Paste that way you have more control over how much you're using and it's resealable unlike the cans. In my experience they'll last ok without refrigeration for a few days, but since you guys have a cooler, could be a good alternative! I hope one day I run into you guys on the road and then I'll make you my family's Sicilian Bolognese ;)

FYI... you can get a shower at truck stops for $12.00 - 14.00. They are generally cleaner than hotels, and the newer truck stops, such as the Loves has double shower heads. Ask for team shower and there is no additional charge for two people.

Two Wheels Big Life I’m sure you’ve heard of Scooter tramp Scotty. But he has said that you can ask truckers for their “shower tickets” or pump receipts. I think because they buy so much fuel the truck stops give them a free shower.

PS: for cooking spaghetti is important put spaghetti into the pan when the water is boiling, not before, and leave spaghetti into pan with boiling water for the time showned on the package. That is a standard procedure for totally kind of italian spaghetti and pasta, but i can't know which kind of spaghetti you use, if made in italy or anywhere. bye from Franco (Italy)

You may know this, but one way to wash clothes is to put water and soap with clothes in a dry bag. Agitate the bag. Dump the soapy water, then do the same with rinse water.

Do you ever do as the Italians do, and add a couple of spoons of the pasta water to your ragu for the last minutes of simmering? The starch in the water thickens the sauce as it reduces.

Chris, you might want to consider swapping the water container and rear bag positions, the water is pretty heavy for that part of the bike, and water movement is probably making the u-turns on the dirt even worse than normal, something to think about. After watching y'all I'm gonna buy a tent🎪 that can have a wood stove. I wanna hit the northern states during summer. I'm a little bummed I was not able to go south for the winter. However my exhaust, rear tire, plugs, plug wires, grips, now heated grips 😆, taillights, forward rear brake link, rear master cylinder, brake pads, and today my Sportster went down to one cylinder so a high performance coil has been ordered to be installed as above mentioned parts. I would have not been happy to have had to replace those items on the road. Sheesh 🙄 Get a Harley they said....😆
