Man even though that driver wasn't paying attention, maybe that close call may have been avoided or been less severe if you were moving a bit slower. I don't know what the speed limit on the expressway in Philly is, but here it's the equivalent of 70 MPH. You were going 117 before you had to brake, so I reckon you were flying pretty fast. Not tryna hate, stay safe mate, but protect yourself and others.

wrecked my fz1 at 120 just 4 days ago because of the same thing. I wanted to be mad (i was mad) but at the end of the day it was my fault for going so fast imo. I just count my blessings im alive let alone WALKING WITH NO INJURIES! Close call squid kid ;) haha edit: I hit the ground at 90-95 but was going 120ish when the incident started. just for clarification)

Ligma Balls Except you wouldn't have such a huge differential in speeds so you'd have more time to react. It's simple math - distance = time*velocity --> time = distance/velocity. Increase velocity and you decrease time, decrease velocity and you increase time. What's the difference between someone merging normally and someone cutting you off? One is close distance, and another is relative speed. If you make it impossible to have a similar relative speed, everyone is cutting you off and in your way in your frame of reference. And he's clearly not riding at the speed limit. That's not this video, and kind of not an argument.

Sorry to ask, but, I have seen some compilation of your "close encounters" with car's driver. I ride motorcycles and car for 45 years now... But could you understand that it's not always possible to see bikers who ride like you ? And do you think it's help bikers to make car driver more agressive to bikers thanks to a behaviour like yours ? It's not an agressive question, just I would understand how you educate cars driver to watch better bikers when you even not accept that they don't do on purpose ! . Then no use to shout and smash mirrors. Sure there are some idiots in car, as some idiots bikers too.. Thanks for your answer and help for make peace and not war between bikers and car's drivers (sorry for my bad english, I live in Belgium)

As it's your youtube channel, and it's about the selection of your videos by the other youtuber. You are credited by him, with links. (And in addition, there is your name on those videos). But I post my comment here, as if I putted on the page of the other youtuber, you will never see it. Then you see, I still don't need meds. And now I just will ask you, in a friendly way, help us to make our road safe and peacefull. You have to realize that really you are not a "perfect rider" (as everybody, me included ), and no use to be agressive. You help everybody if you try to stay calm, and just ask peoples "please watch better". But remember : we only have two eyes , and both can watch only in one direction. And impossible to turn head as fast as a gyroscop. Then if somebody watch right and after left, if you arrive so fast, he could'nt see you, even if he tried his best. And be also aware that YES... the way you ride is REALLY dangerous for others peoples too. You are not alone to ride this way, and sure, it where a time when I did stupid things. But too much friends died this way, and fortunately, make me think over. In time, before dying myself I guess. My post is a friendly one, and sorry if you don't feel it.
