Having the right tools , practicing, and being comfortable with what you’re doing makes all the difference!! Great job on being that taken better of quickly!! Spinning the tire back on, “easy” He says!!

Way to be prepared. I've had several flat tires last season. I got pretty good at changing tubes in the woods. You can never have too many tools on the trails.

Believe it or not, this was my first time doing a tube change. I’ve been lucky with not having a puncture.

It's never fun changing a tube on the road but good thing to have the tools just in case. So after yall got the new tube in there did yall not release all of the air before putting the tire back on? just wondering as I relased all of mine, or what would come out without the valve steam in, before putting the tire back on but I might not need to.
@AdventureTomek Жыл бұрын
Dewey had me pump up the tube slightly before getting the tire back on the rim, less of a chance pinching the new tube on the rim that way.

I like to have air in the tube when I put the tire on, it's too easy to pinch a flat tube with the spoons. Once we had the tire on, we let all the air out so the valve stem would line itself up correctly when we inflated.

@@DeweyRides gotcha.. I would air it up some to make sure I didn't have it rolled then let all the air back out.. I'll try this approach soon as I need to buy a rear tire now.

@@theadventurousrider - I just put in enough to keep it moveable inflated so it can move around if the spoon hits it, instead of being able to snag a bit of it. Like 1-2psi.
