Thanks for taking me around Nick. Much more comfortable viewing from the comfort of my bed than fighting the crowds. The last motorcycle show I went to was at Earls Court in 1968 - things are slightly different now, I see 😂 Beautifully filmed and presented. 👍. Best wishes, Peter

Morning Peter. It was really busy and difficult to record because of the background music which would no doubt have caused copyright issues. I wasn’t overly impressed with the new Bullet 350 as it’s just a rebadged classic 350. The all black BSA looked nice though. 👍

@@thesilverfoxtravels6653 I find it difficult looking at modern bikes with all that open space under the rear 'mudguard'. In fact I find pretty well all 'modern' things difficult 😂😂. You did a great job Nick.

It did though the gaiters didn’t look to fit properly but that could have been a bad camera angle. 👍

Morning Nick. Some nice bikes, but how hideous are those BMW things 😮😅 Thanks for sharing.
@thesilverfoxtravels6653 Жыл бұрын
Morning Ian, those BMW’s have a certain charm but they’re clearly not to everyone’s taste. They’re too big and too heavy for me anyway. Worthy of a curious glance but then swiftly moved on. 👍

Mr Fillingham commented that there seemed to be little interest in the Bullit on the royal enfield stand when he was there, also that several times he passed the BSA stand it also seems quiet 😮

Thanks for the look around except for the electric part. Lol. I am sure events like this happen somewhere in the states, but I am guessing it's a large city. It would be my guess 4 to 6 hours away from me. Again, thanks for the look around

Morning, you’re welcome. It’s claimed that electric is the future but in my opinion that’s a long way off. The infrastructure just isn’t up to the challenge yet and the range of these bikes is very limited. However as a city commuter bike they do make sense. 👍

@@thesilverfoxtravels6653 I agree, I have nothing against electric, I made a video about my experience with batteries and RC cars . Need to get batteries right first, then charging time and then endurance and amount of charges it will take. A race battery was only good for about 25 races. After that, it a play battery. They only lasted 15 min and took hours to charge. Looking at them now 35 years later, not much has changed.

Thanks Nick smashing video now is the BSA black worth £1,000 more than the Speed 400 🤔
@thesilverfoxtravels6653 Жыл бұрын
It 250cc more, has really nice classic lines and the leavers match..! (See Uncle Stu’s video) so it could be worth a second look..🤔

They really are the same bike, the minor differences are only cosmetic. I wasn’t overly impressed. I won’t be changing the Cub for one. 👍
