Also, I don't think you can use deadly force to protect property in "California" but I may be mistaken you definitely can't here in NY Edit: The Supreme Court ruled that reasonable force, including but not limited to deadly force, is deemed constitutionally protected to protect against intrusions into a dwelling, under the Castle Doctrine. No official ruling on intrusions/vandalism of a vehicle; that's up to the penal code of this community. I realize this isn't real life, I just find it funny he was so eager to let her off when, I believe, he's a California resident, my experience is that's not common. Refreshing
