You have great patience @robertsimmons. It is amazing just seeing people with these big bikes and can't really ride them. But will get on highways with them with all types of vehicles on them. I have great respect for you for trying to get people to take riding a motorcycle more serious than just going fast. I salute and applaud you. 🙏

After finding your channel and Palladino’s early this summer When I went from a 600lb low cog bike to a 900lb high cog ultra classic I got in great practice sessions. The tips, tricks, and watching all your students and seeing the mistakes and how they overcame it’s been great. Took the ol lady to sturgis this year and had no problem. But boy seeing the high percentage of people out there struggle and muscle their bikes around I was proud. I like to let these longer videos play in the background and open the vid when something sounds interesting. Thank you for all the free content! Between your videos and in person training I imagine you’ve actually saved a lot of lives from getting people being the boss of their motorcycle.
As a novice rider who started riding at 60 yrs, I was very tough on myself. However, after watching this video....no direspect intended...I am surprised that some of these riders are actually riding in busy roads. I would never even have attempted to ride on the road until i could at least have some element of control over my bike. Because I don't have the luxury of long legs, mastery of slow speed riding was paramount. You have so much patience. I bet you were a great boss and well respected.💙

I have been practicing stopping/starting then the walking speed exercise. Sometimes a bit boring but I knew I has to practice because I have never owned a larger bike. A 2009 Road King. Today on my way home from work (only the second day I rode to work). On the way home I had practical use of these drills for 30 minutes because a stop light was out in the middle of rush hour. The drills paid off ! Thanks for your channel and all your tips ! Now on to more practice turns!!
Keep up great work. This is the best learning channel. One day I hope to make a session

Great teacher, great layout to your lessons. It's clear the improvements guys make in a days workshop with you. It's damn concerning that some of these are even allowed on large bikes though. Many would not pass a full license in the UK, and would be limited to 125CC or 47HP. Duck walking, front brake usage at slow speed, putting right foot down at a stop too often would all be heavily marked against. Mandatory slow speed 24ft U-turns from a standstill are compulsory to ride a big bike here, foot down would be an instant fail. So strange watching guys on big $40k bikes with no idea how to ride them. You're doing some good work though man. And credit to everyone at your workshops for realising their skills need improving.

And I saw Ride Like a Pro video as well. He was saying front brake and rear brake. I'm no pro but I am a pre-loader and I was like what. So I did have to give it a try a few times. Didn't take long to realize that the rear brake gives you more control in stopping at slow speeds.

Hello Mr. Palladino! Your videos are awesome. Keep up the great work. Question: I have such a problem becoming the boss of my 900lb bike when the road is a hill, but it dips either to the left or right. No matter what I do, I drop the bike especially with my wife on the back. One day, I was out training, and decided to take the bike out onto the mountain road. Well I came up to a stop sign, the road was a three-way stop, high in the middle of the intersection and each intersecting road all dipped left or right drastically. When I came to a stop, I thought I had it, I was wrong. The bike and I dropped well into the side of the mountain. Took me over 15 minutes to get that back up on its tires. How can I avoid this.
@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle2 жыл бұрын
Ok first, Thank you for watching and hopefully you’re subscribed!👍🏾😊 Second, this is Mr. Simmons. If you’re looking for Mr. Paladino, you’re on the wrong channel. 😆 You need to stay in the friction zone a little longer. Practice this more without your wife on the motorcycle with you. Also continue to watch my videos. I did one on making a u-turn on a hill.
@TheGodFatherItalian2 жыл бұрын
@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle OMG! My bad! Yes I am subscribed and I meant Mr. Simmons. I just watched a Mr. Paladino video and had him still on my mind. I have tried staying in the friction zone longer, however,, no matter what I do, the bike goes down. I have also practiced without my wife, that is when I did a header into the side of a mountain, which was not fun to say the least. Would you be so kind to demo this scenario if you could?
@TheGodFatherItalian2 жыл бұрын
@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle Hi Simmons, I just watched the stopping on the hill and navigating an u-turn. I am okay with navigating that maneuver. My problem is whenever the road, running parallel with the bike, is either a decline or incline on the left or right of the bike.
