Preparing a motorcycle for a track day requires paying particular attentional to your oil drain plug, oil filter, oil filler cap, and the oil itself! And what is the best oil to use for a motorcycle?
The Moto Maddox Z900 is being prepped for a track day. In Part 2 of this modification/maintenance series, we use a bench vise ( on the garage floor ) and general hand tools to drill a hole in an oil drain plug bolt. It turned out to be a "bit" more involved than I expected, and I do break a drill bit. However, with some patience and persistence, we get the hole drilled.
We also add some fresh oil to the bike, and are now ready to safety wire some fasteners in part 3!
