This landscape reminds me of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The only difference is that it's probably a little colder here and we get a LOT of snow being next to Lake Superior. Also, full face mesh coverings in the summer on account of the mosquitoes. Great video!

Looks like you’ll be having a great trip ! I’m really looking forward to seeing how the Himalayan 450 performs in adverse conditions. I have a Himalayan 411 and am hoping to explore Scandinavia soon. I’ll wait for the warmer weather first though 🤣

So far so good! I tested it in some snow now with skis and it worked so good in even deeper snow! :) 411 is also a very cool bike! I hope you get here soon! :) Haha do it! But be prepared for some mosquitos if you go north then!

Great choice of bike and luggage I use a sw 350 bag and there great quality 🎉

Yeah I liked it so far! It did crack a little bit on some places but I used it a lot in minus 35 celsius so I should not complain.

As much as the gs is a great bike for long miles I think you have made the right choice once you get on the snow ❄️ hope the rain stays away for your first sections .

I completely agree! The 1100 is a beast but for this kind of stuff the Himalayan seems perfect! It worked flawless in the snow so far!
