How cool to get an air show from a ferry! Amazing! Lake Windemere looks really nice. That's one low hill for the highest mountain in England! But still looks awesome! The Lake District looks absolutely amazing!

Really enjoyed this video as the Lake District is a really special place for me. I also have spent some time at Hawkshead as a kid too, on one of those outdoors holidays when you do white watee rafting and abseiling and stuff. It does rain a lot though! 😁

Hola L&O, What a beautiful National Park. It is stunning! Lavi, i applaud your bravery in tackling that rocky path. Some of those rocks were rather large. Ollie, thank you again for all the info about the Lake District. I enjoy hearing about these places that you ride. Safe and happy travels, see you in the next one. Happy and alive. Lots of love, Sue. ❤❤❤

The Lake District looks like a great place to ride off-road. It's a little rocky, but the scenery is beautiful looking from our side of the internet. Well, once again you two are riding well, conquering obstacles that a few weeks ago might have seemed impossible. 👍Good video. Stay 💪~~~~~Excellent Cool 😎

When doing trails it is a good idea to take a small folding saw with you. I have chopped up fairly large trees with one. Folds up and takes no space.

If the trail has been used by 4x4s, etc., it is probably better to follow where their wheel tracks, especially through deep puddles.

Hey Lavi - Just wanted to say you have truly inspired me and given me confidence. Whilst in the Picos in Spain a rogue SatNav direction took us off road and on an off road section for a couple of miles. A bit like the down hill rocky section you encountered on this episode 😱 Never done this before and on a sports tourer. But just kept thinking of your courage and thought I could do this - and I did! Exhilarating! But was so relieved when I got back on tarmac. Thank you and you have conquered this off road malarkey 🫡👍👍🏍️

Sooo looking forward to this part of your ride. I lived in the Lakes, just outside Keswick and love that area so much and know it so well! I used to do some teaching on bushcraft courses in the southern lakes and those jets used to get so annoying 😂 sometimes we'd be in the middle of a peaceful forest giving some quiet instructions and then the RAF would come in and we'd have to just stand there for a few minutes as they went around and around unable to hear each other talk 😂😂. Looking forward to the rest of this leg of the journey! Lavi, your off road confidence is growing sooo much along with your skills! Ollie... Love your fact dumps, had no idea that was the origin of the same Scafell. Dale

We have a place in British Columbia, Canada called Windermere. Windermere Lake was once known as Lower Columbia Lake, and will be seen as such on older maps of the area.[2] It was given its current name by G.M. Sproat in 1902 because it resembled Lake Windermere in the English Lake District.[3]: 297 I think Knox Armour is located in the Lakes District. I think their ads are shot in the area.

@luddite6239Ай бұрын
Both you and the Van Vans have coped admirably with this adventure. Looking back, and with your knowledge of the terrain, if you could go back in time, would you still have chosen the Suzukis, or is there now another bike you feel would have been better suited?
@LaviandOllieАй бұрын
Yes we can’t actually believe how well they have coped! What machines! I think these bikes were great for Lavi to get used to riding so for that they were perfect, of course a more off road bike would have coped better but would have also required a lot more skill so maybe that can be for a future adventure ☺️

What more can we say, you two just keep going as do those Van Vans. I would find the riding over the very stony ground not an enjoyable experience, I bet you are relieved when you can get a spell on tarmac. All the best John & Penny 'Old and Alive', riders.😊✌🏍

Moin moin 😉You're earning your webbed feet guys 😉. Tbh tho' I'm just waiting for 'one' of you to break a mirror on a fall, if you have folding mirrors then it's allways best to fold them in offroad. Folded in they will also block you from looking down at your front wheels (where you shouldn't be looking anyway) but looking ahead. Lavi it sounds like your concentrating on the larger rocks when you see them instead of the flatter/easier area beside/around them. All in all considering the tyres you have and low bikes you're riding you're doing ok💪. Ride safe guys 🤗

Just a bit of information for you, there is no such water as 'Windermere lake' the word 'mere' actually means lake! So, you are referring to it as, Winder lake lake! There is only ONE lake in the Lake District and that's Bassenthwate Lake, ALL the rest are either Meres, Waters, or Tarns. 🤔.

I enjoyed the video. I can’t understand why you don’t wild camp on them trails you’ve got loads and loads of open fields. Surely you could wild come for free.👍
@davidmatthews3093Ай бұрын
Most land in England is privately owned by landowners. While wild camping isn't banned, the only way to wild camp legally in England is by seeking permission from the landowner. The only place that wild camping was legally permitted in England was in Dartmoor National Park.
@ElliotDooleysmithАй бұрын
Camping in the UK is ridiculously expensive. £31 for a small tent for 1 night is madness. I recently did a week camping around Wales, i did manage to do less than £20 per night, but they were all very basic. It feels like robbery. Especially, places that charge per person, not per tent. It doesn't make any sense that it can be cheaper to get an Airbnb or hotel for less than it costs to sleep in an empty field.

First I love you guys and I thought about writing it but here goes: Please please please get some training. The way you are peddling your feet you will break your ankles. The trails of this video for examaple I would call very easy if you know how. You are doing yourself a disservice and taking more risk than necessary. I know training is not cheap, especially if the trainer is good, but it does pay off immensely. Just a 2 day introduction to give you guys better body position would make hell of a difference and I am not advertising anything as I am way too far away for you guys to get training here .... I just fear for you guys. With Love!
