Motorcycling Tour To Spain & Portugal Ep 4 - Pola De Allanda, A Fonsagrada, Castro Verde, Lugo & the amazing annual Roman & Pagan Festival.

We continued along the AS 14, Pola De Allande, A Fonsagrada
towards LUGO to try and get accommodation somewhere
in the outlying towns, on either side of the city and then head to see
Santiago De Compostela the following morning. The road and views were excellent, and the number of people doing their Camino De Santiago started increasing the further we travelled. We knew there would be no chance of getting any accommodation in Santiago, hence the idea of using a location on either side of LUGO city as a spring board for an early start towards Santiago De Compostela.
We spoke to a man at a random roadside cafe, who told us about the annual
Roman festival in Lugo that night, and had highly recommended it.
We had always tried to avoid riding through cities due to the
volume of traffic, heat, idiot drivers, etc, but decided we would go
and see the festival and stay in the centre of Lugo and booked
a hotel with secure parking.
We were so pleased we did !
