Another option would be for them to do absolutely nothing about it, but separate game wide leaderboards for consoles and pc. It was as such on the crew 2, so id highly doubt the don’t have the tech to make that happen. That would also make summits a whole of a lot easier, which a lot of low lvl drivers have been complaining abt. Could be a solid option although not one id particularly like. Personally id like for them to either: A) make it a feature for everyone B) somehow reset parts with double affixes and patch it out of the game Ps: I prefer option A, the game has been so stale and smt like this being implemented would revive it for a lil while

a patching option could be, some sort of code that verifies if u have the same affix twice on a single part, and then it halves the amount of the affix, or instead of verifying if u have it twice, just verifies if u have more % than a max amount that would be if u have a single affix on a part

They could just add a hard cap on the total bonus, so the skilled doesn't go above 70% or that pure doesn't go above 35%. But they do have the ability to prevent double parts normally its just that a way to circumvent it has been found. I think there should be a hard cap on the total bonus from affix parts, reset the leaderboards. I dont think this deserves a ban, the only time I can see bans being rolled out is if there's an exploit to obtain crew credits(understandably so).

One solution could be to limit the max percentage of an affix (for example 35% pure) so the people having double pure affix wouldn't lose their parts or whatever but the game considers it at a single pure part

Writing code to check if a car has a double affix then adjust it is not hard to do. But as you said, adding it as a feature is better, but not easier.

The technology they need literally takes 10 minutes to make, they do have it but they don’t use it, it’s just a piece of code. They can detect it as well, literally a simple code that makes it so that if you have two of the same affixes they just remove one.

Thinking about it they will probably keep them but not allow you to enter the set into summits since they part percentages are too high. Your pure it too high please equip a new set. And same with leaderboards.

Hey nitro is finally back to its normal TC2 stats, well a tad better since it was EIGHT percent in TC2, before they nerfed the living s**t out of part sets... They need to buff the nitro set. Its not even fun racing compared to TC2. They won't ban people. They will lose all their streamers lmao, their playerbase is already microscopic.

Ubisoft and IVT are too fkn chicken shit and all these content creators have cucked them hard by spreading this like wildfire. How is Ubi or IVT gonna realistically account wipe thousands of players and expect no backlash.. The easiest way to do this. Is patch it. Give console players equivilent sets because they are getting screwed over by this and just deleting the parts for us on PC doesn’t change the fact I’ve made an insane amount of money with my double bucks set. Patch it. Give Xbox and PS players one of each set for each car type. If you didn’t. Give future NEW accounts the same on all platforms. Going forward and then forget about it. None of these options deal with the fact that this has given all of us on PC a massive advantage. I don’t think just going hay we patched it sorry console guys you get nothing is a good idea with all the bad faith they currently have. BUT this is Ubisoft. And if they do one thing very well. It’s fuck it up.
