Andy, we are having a 3D 360 system installed in November. In the video you appear to visit a vehicle wash that facilitates above roof access. Where is it and we pre book? Enjoying your Kiwi jaunt, pity you'll miss the ski season in Wanaka.

Hi Keith, we're still singing the praises of the 3D 360 system, just today in Belgium on a tight campsite it was invaluable. Unfortunately the vehicle wash is at our storage facility. I've only used it a couple of times, I've got a good sturdy pair of step ladders and an extendable wash pole that I normally use, only need to move the ladders 4-5 times to do the whole roof. It's strange to think of Wanaka in Ski season having been there in the sun! cheers...Andy ps. hope you used the EXTREME100 discount code 😀

Waiting with interest to see if you saw penguins emerge from the sea at dusk at Otago, felt the wind at Mt John observatory. If not, you'll have to do another winter trip 😜

We definitely want to do another trip out there so maybe we'll go long enough to see more than one season. We do visit Otago later in the series 😀 but we didn't make it to the Observatory, the night star gazing experience needed to be booked further in advance than we had time to be around, next time! 😀

Hi, I called my insurance company this morning, they say I already have the camera discount as I have the reversing camera , pity there wasn’t a bit more discount with them for the 360 as it makes a huge difference over and above just having a reversing camera

Hi there, it’s now difficult to imagine driving without the 360 system, we’ve just hired a small car in Spain and I was looking across for the 360 screen! In the rain it’s been better than our existing reversing camera, still very much useable, it doesn’t have infrared so it’s totally dark you can’t use it it but if there’s street lighting or other car headlights it’s fine, cheers…Andy

Hi, it’s primary use is as a driving aid which it is excellent at, it can be run from the leisure battery so is possible to leave it recording while away, it’s comes with an 8hr loop but can be extended by inserting a micro SD card, all 4 channels then can be accessed if needed 😀

Is it correct that you will need to inform your insurance that you have a hard wired system fitted? I read that if you have a dash cam hard wired in your car you should inform them, if it’s a plug in one it’s fine.

Hi I spoke to my insurers, they made a note on file but didn’t need to add it to my policy details. We already have a reversing camera otherwise there would have been some extra discount applied , thanks for raising the question, useful to know
