Wow, there are some very jealous people out there. The car or motor home in this case is the second most expensive thing 99% of us will buy, why not look after it the best way you can. I machine polished my very old motor home and it’s a proper task - what they’ve done there is pretty standard but a lot of work and definitely worth it. And it must be so nice working on a new vehicle.

Not sure why there are sore comments here. Guess being narrow minded is the reason why you are not wealthy to afford what you want? I will protect items I own… leather polish even for my wallet, coating for my bicycle and cars. They bought a motorhome that they will use for quite some time so obviously they want to take care of it. The coating makes it an additional selling point next time when they want to sell it. Thank you for sharing this. Very useful. I already have a list of items to buy when I get a brand new motorhome. Adding ceramic coating to the list! 😊

By the looks of it, they did very thorough work with the van. Looks awesome. 👌 I started to use a waterless wash product, originally developed for airplanes, to do the everyday maintenance cleaning. Works wonders with minimum effort.

next question in your travels do people in other countries do all this do you ask them them in spain do you get ceramic coating I think its a uk thing billion pound industry and when you trade in did the sales man ask you has your van been ceramic coated would love to know

I’m not sure about other countries, and we sold privately, but it was a selling point when we shared with the buyer. I’m not sure it was have a huge financial impact on the resale value, but maybe if a buyer had a choice between 2 and one looked better because it’s had paint protected… 🤷🏼‍♀️ We just love that it protects the paint and keeps it looking lovely for longer.

It’s not just a UK thing, I live in Germany and have had my 14 year old motorhome done inGermany and most people who buy a motorhome get a ceramic coating put on. It a big investment but worth it and makes cleaning a lot easier and upholds the value.
