A strip of the flexible IKEA clear plastic draw liner clear taped along the inner side of the base of the shower door prevents the toilet area from getting very wet when showering , so you have somewhere dry to put your feet after stepping out of the shower 💕

Hi Nick, Thanks for the review. I had a look at the Bourton and other Autosleepers at the NEC last week and I was impressed. I am looking to buy my first Motorhome / Van conversion and I have read mixed reviews on Autosleepers and and indeed other British built vehicles on the market. Do you think the quality reflects the price? Is it worth the large premium over the Broadway? I also have concerns over Peugeot engines which may also be miss guided.

Hi William. I'll pass on your comment to Nick and attempt to get back to you asap. Nick gave the Auto-Sleeper Bourton a 78% rating overall in November's magazine where you can read more of his thoughts on the Auto-Sleeper Bourton. Thanks

Hi William. Here is Nick's comprehensive reply: The perfect motorhome has never been, nor ever will be, built. Indeed, if all I ever heard were rave reviews for any vehicle - indeed, any product you can think of - I, for one, would be extremely suspicious. Despite the sometimes overwhelming choice of imported motorhomes here in the UK, the majority of sales are British-built conversions. So, the customer is always right? Like beauty, quality and value are very much in the eyes of the beholder. Of course quality is important, but just as vital is making sure you get the vehicle with the right layout and levels of equipment for your specific needs. Of course value is important, but paying a low price for something which ultimately isn’t suitable for you is hardly a bargain. Aside from perceptions of quality, do take into account the level of service you are going to get from your local dealer. And I do mean local. Again, be very wary of buying from someone a long way away from you. What happens when you need to take it back - for servicing and/or any remedial work? Likewise, Peugeot engines are no better or worse than the rest. Indeed, the biggest concern for any motorhome is lack of use. These engines are designed primarily for commercial work, clocking up high mileages on a regular basis. Keep researching and keep gathering the opinions, is my advice. But, at the end of the day, the only one that matters is yours - you can’t put a value on great memories and there’s no such thing as a bad motorhome, although it’s easy to make the wrong choice. Still unsure? Do consider hiring a motorhome first. All the very best. Nick Harding

What is the fuel economy on the Mercs?

These start at £75K with the autobox option ouch ..... for such a small Van They would be better following Benimar and having a Ford Transit option. The Merc is not worth an extra £15K just so you can get a decent auto box.

How do they manage to always employ Granny's design skills, I have no idea. Some more swirls outside would be better too. Sherry glasses hahahahaha.

Background music, I hate having to listen to background music, it's detestable & ruins an otherwise good video. Others too, I loathe background music.
