Motorhome stopover at The Bull Inn, Pentraeth. A cruise to Puffin Island and brunch at Lligwy beach

It's Easter weekend and The Slaws are on a road trip around Anglesey.
They enjoy a cruise on Starida's Island Princess from Beaumaris to see the puffins. They weren't disappointed! Lots of seabirds and seals.
A meal at The Bull Inn in Pentraeth and overnight in their carpark. Next morning a lovely walk down to Pentraeth beach overlooking Red Wharf Bay.
On the road again to Lligwy Beach for brunch and a walk along the beach. Mrs Slaw tries out the new RidgeMonkey making Slaw's sausage and egg butty.

Enjoyed your Knaresborough trip, and now this. I went to Knaresborough in around 1977 on a school trip, but too young to remember it then, and Anglesey my family have been there on vacation trips, and we have been from Holyhead to Dublin and Newcastle in County Down, Northern Ireland. And we did the Republic of Ireland it’s very relaxing. You want to do this sometime.

Another really enjoyable watch. I cant wait to see Puffins some day, such beautiful birds. Great watching the dogs from their level enjoying the beach run, but that was a scary little face in slow motion! The trusty old ridge monkey, wouldnt be without mine. Hi Denise, the ones we’ve stayed at have either been free (and we’ve eaten there) or you are charged £10 and you don’t have to eat there. We’ve not had one that has said a minimum spend. We always email/ring ahead so we know what to expect 👍🏻

Hi both, can you tell me please; with all you pub stop overs that you’ve done, have you ever had any issue with the size of your van. Guessing it’s 7 plus meters long, I’ve read on one site that you need to let the landlord know, as it could be an issue when booking or even worse when turned away on arrival. Thanks Nick! Our van is 7m. We’ve never had a problem. We usually look on Google maps to see what the car park is like. Some apps tell you the max size of vans allowed. If I’m doubt it’s always best to phone ahead and check 👍🏻

Hi Si and Anne, liked the idea of your Ring camera in the Van. Can you tell me which model and where you bought it please? Hi John, you need to get the AHC done within 10 days of travel. As far as I’m aware it’s just one AHC per trip, irrespective of how many countries you are visiting on your trip. It has to be in the language of the point of entry, I.e in French if you are sailing into Calais. Check out this site. It’s got lots of good info www.gov.uk/taking-your-pet-abroad
