Lovely video, we did Saumer and Montreuil Bellay last year, both excellent places to visit , as well as Loches and Sable sur Saone, a favourite , thanks for sharing

Thanks for watching 👍 Saumer is one of Sue’s favourites, we were going to call in there on the way back from Spain last week but they had temporarily closed because of the level of the Loire 😳 Loche is on the radar for later in the year 👍

Super! We often stay at the free Aire at Montreuil-Bellay. You can buy their wine at the supermarket in town. It’s very good!

Great Blog really enjoy the places you visit! We retire next April and have been saving your campsites and others as we want to do a tour of France! We will keep on watching😀 P.S Any reason you didn't do Cherbourg to Poole ?

@@MrEdwardk44 Thank you and thanks for watching 👍 no reason really, the sailing is an hour shorter, but there is extra driving if driving south - it’s about the same price but we do like stopping at Port Solent (Out and Back) and Lion sur Mere on the return - roll on April 👍😎

Hi, thanks for watching and subscribing 👍 - The three main campsites we were at with Mike and Catherine were booked ahead as we wanted to make sure that we could get onto the sites together, and the Camping carpark we stayed at in Lion Sur Mer was also booked ahead, but apart from that we like to stay flexible and very often decide where the next stop is gong to be the night before (or even later) - for instance the Camping Carpark we are at tonight (Taillebourg Le Chateau) was decided on over a coffee this morning. we do like to choose somewhere as close as possible to something interesting, town, beach, castle, marina etc, and the Camping Carpark App, acsi App and google maps are great resources - recommendations from people met on sites are also very useful - hope that helps 😎🚍

Hi Guys, Great vlog, lots of interesting facts. We are off to France in 3 weeks time and will be copying your route backwards. Please could you let me know which motorway tag you have , as we have are having a trouble obtaining one, doesn't like our bank details when applying. Didn't have any problems with the Portuguese tag last year...
